Think I would prefer Rosler

 

Not sure about that. We need a rebuild at the moment in the squad and the management to give us the clean slate we need for next season. Really not sure who I would want as a manager but what I do want is football with tempo and style played predominantly on the floor.

No, but much the same as Grayson based what I saw of his Fleetwood side this campaign in my opinion .

 

Thought he built a good fleetwood team hiwula and Cole up top no hoof ball from what I saw .even made Cole look good and sold to wigan for a good fee

 

The result of the talks between the chairmen and SG in the coming week or two will make it abundantly clear just what predicament were in prior to any new manager coming in and where we can expect to finish next season. If SG walks then we know that Stefan n Edin have not done enough to make us an attractive proposition. They will have stumped up very little to subsidise the already reduced budget and the war chest will be minimal. SG will want enough to get us out of this league, he has a L1 reputation to maintain, and contrary to him saying there are many factors involved, recruitment and the money to get the quality needed will be the main reason. If like many believe, Stefan has lost interest or doesn’t want to plough anymore in, then unless Edin finds more backers, I believe it will be a relegation battle next season.

 

So by your reckoning, Graysons remit was never to improve on the top 6 position he inherited, but simply to spend the remainder of the season trying to find a better formula? For what? His next season in charge would be the only logical answer

 

Grayson will only "name names" with the club he is going to be contracted to imo

 

Sounds like a job for McCall

 

That is a worry, and he would also know our financial position and what we would be willing to pay. We are in a mess either way, if he goes he will have key information that could damage our recruitment from the off. If he stays we will have to put up with the defensive football. I have also just thought about Greg, when he told us about his health, he went at great pains to tell us he had prepared a list of players and had given it to Edin. I wondered why, most ppl were thinking that signalled that Grayson wouldn’t here, but it could be the back up plan if he does decide to leave.

 

If Grayson goes he will want players to match the way he plays he tends to go for people he knows. Any new city manager may have completely different ideas.

He managed to spend more money than McCall and put Fleetwood in a relegation battle. Then it took the might of John 'I'll always get a team to 5th bottom in L1' Sheridan to transform them

Yep Grayson out, Rosler in. Makes perfect sense. Because our performances are all Grayson's fault as he told Law to fart around with the ball and give it away etc

This reminds of the Chesterfield fans wanting Danny Wilson out two seasons ago. That wish, fulfilled, worked out fine didn't it

Or were you chanting the same at him six years ago and have conveniently forgotten?

Arguably our two best ever managers has nightmare starts to their Bantams managerial career. Or have you forgotten the 5-0 mauling Jewell got in the latter part of the 97/98 season

I love these fans with selective memories. Christ! Even Pep struggled relative to the quality of his team in his first season

 

I'm not Grayson's biggest fan but replacing him with Rosler would be idiotic

 

Those not wanting Grayson will blame the board if he doesn't sign, guaranteed.

 

If the board haven't got a suitable alternative lined up who can come in and hit the ground running if Grayson doesn't sign, I think the blame will be perfectly justified.

 

Come on @Nick_W_ Grayson will do what's best for Grayson, if a better offer comes up and in his opinion that club has more potential he'll go and as with players no one could blame him, surely that is the reason he did not sign the 2 years contract that we offered by Edin & Stefan as was said at the fans forum.

 

Not disputing that and that's not what I said.
