Graham Alexander should be sacked

As long as his legs haven't gone he'll be fine. He's a few months younger than Nahki and I bet you wouldn't be writing him off if we signed him in the summer.

I reckon there’s still some folk who want him sacked. They’re what we call “morons”.

 

If the club are gonna get rid then do it now if not then we have to give him time rather than the usual 10 games and we are not top then he has to go.

The interview with Sharp indicates long term plans than short term fixes and me personally i hope GA is part of this,i think in the long run he will eventually get us out of here given time honestly we have another season of chopping and changing then i simply give up with it.
Look at Mansfield and how theu kept with Clough may have taken them a while but they got there unlike us who simply bumble along hoping that a short term fix will somehow make it alright.
That short term fix has failed for how many years now ????

Alexander talked alot of sense in the aftermatch interview on him judging who in the players he resigns on the whole season not just the last 7 games. If this is the case then some who have had a good last 7 games maybe sweating abit.

 

I would have put a grand on guessing who started the thread……..It’s a well established pattern.

 

Listening to the interview post match from GA he was clear that he was looking at the current squad and how they'd performed since he walked in the door. He clearly stated he wasn't allowing the last 7 games to cloud his judgement.

 

He's seen the best and worst side of every fit player.
The hardest to judge will obviously be the long term absentees like Patterson Young and Taylor regardless of contract lengths.

 

In other managerial news it looks like Derek Adams is off to Swindon.

 

And Clemence sacked by Gills.

 

They will push boat out. Can see them up there next season.

Well they were for a while, fell apart towards the end. With Wrexham, Stockport and Mansfield gone there is an opportunity for them now. Last season was their American owners first proper season.

On paper it looks like a weak division.
