Has to be given the full season coming up. Can't keep having Captain Soundbite hiring and firing every season.

Because he isn't a good manager. Proven time and time again.

Why do you think we should stick

Exactly we complain when teams come to Valley Parade and when we can't break them down and complain about no plan "B" but it looks like Michael Williamson is happy to take a heavy defeat as long as they play possession football.

Except at Fleetwood where he took them up.
Except Scunthorpe where he took them to the play off's, the following season sacked yet he had Scunthorpe fifth in the league when he was sacked, trigger happy chairman ?.
Salford City in his first season took them from non league football to the EFL after beating AFC Fylde at Wembley, in his second season to took Salford to the EFL Trophy but the final was never played because of Covid, his third season he was sacked having got Salford fifth in the league being unbeaten in the opening five league games, Neville sacked Alexander and brought his buddy Paul Scholes in, Salford City co-owner Gary Neville later admitted that sacking Alexander was a mistake, saying "Graham Alexander should have never left this club last season. I should have never made the decision that I made".
Motherwell in his first season they finished fifth in the Scottish Premier League.
MK Dons September 2023 Alexander was named the EFL League two Manager of the Month for August 2023 after the club finished the month top of the table with twelve points from their opening five games. However, following a run of eight league games without a win (not eight defeats), on 16 October 2023, Milton Keynes Dons sacked Alexander after just 16 games in charge of the club.
I'd say his managerial record isn't as bad as your trying to make out.
Keep up the good work buddy ;).

Alexander isn’t the root cause of our problems. Rupp Sparkes and previously Rahic have undermined and regressed this club. Wrexham appointed a fella who knows what to do. And that was to run a mile from these clowns.
it just goes to show what can be done if you back successful manager rather than ‘know better’

Neville opened up a bit more on GA leaving recently. Said it was his only regret in terms of sacking managers. He was given the boot because they thought his style of play has a ceiling and they wouldn't progress out of L2 playing his way and thought let's change our style to be more progressive. But they lost that stability and solidity and it never came back.

I think GA probably does need show he can play it both ways and have a passing play just to keep himself in work with less and less teams looking for that hoofing manager. Parkinson has managed to change from his 442 hoof ball play at every club before Wrexham. Having the money helps, but since day 1 he's had a 352 setup and at first played hoof ball and it wasn't getting results. Next season went pass first then direct if it fails and hasn't looked back. Obviously, he can build whatever squad he wants with their resources, but has shown he can change it up.

Wrexham spend money like water, we don’t have limitless funds that’s a huge difference . Just for balance.

Our priority is getting out of League Two as we saw with Phil Parkinson you can also get out of League One playing similar football, after that who knows, and although you cant take anything away from Gary Neville with regards his playing career his managerial career was suspect to say the least.

Any half decent manager will have different styles of play in his locker he can play to, and this is where I think that's important. It will now be down to Sharpe and his team to lay out a future club plan and for Alexander to deliver on field. Let's see how that works out before we add to our ever-huge ex-managers contract pay-offs.

Do your research. Alexander got Fleetwood promoted into League One, got Scunthorpe into the League Two play-offs, got Salford promoted into the Football League, got Motherwell into their best SPL finish in bloody years in fifth place . You might not like him but his record is good. Do your homework mate.

Agree. Parky didn’t know he would end up at Wrexham years later. His record inbetween is decent. Still walked away from a 5 year project of success based in the meeting with the new owners. That’s on Rupp. Who appointed Rahic don’t forget.

I think tactically he's very astute - but at crucial times has too many players who can't follow them. It's a bit like Liverpool where suddenly the players are making bad decisions - and that's probably because they can't make good ones when the pressure is on, hence why a number of their players are / were not first choice.

But then again, it's not as though, compared to others, we've been terrible all the time. It's quite feasible we'll be ninth and say three or four points from the play-offs.

Our problem is that when Stockport have a six match without winning spell, when they were terrible (see the first half against Salford) they draw five of them. We lose all six. That's down to player mentality and GA can't be blamed for that, because the three he's brought in during January all have a good mentality.

It's always going to be in L2, how many points you take when playing poorly - which governs your success.

I don’t forget, however that’s masking the principle of my response . We will never have limitless funds and neither will Parkinson again.

Will be fairly short as most of the squad are still under contract which limits that flexibility.
