Graham Alexander should be sacked

Totally agree Vin. It would be yet more short termist madness to sack Alexander off. He's a more than decent manager and if sacked, who's the genius manager to replace him? In the two Walkers, Halliday, Platt, Pattison and Pointon we have proper promotion players - the rest? Wouldn't be unhappy for any to leave - including the ever glum Andy Cooke.

 

Ooops! Missed out Kavangah on that list - proper player, edgey and always up for it and with a great first touch.

 

But what if GA's style of play as a manager doesn't fit in with our 4-5 year plan/vision? Surely better to get rid now if that's the case??

 

Are you forgetting he was the only one that wanted the job at the end of last year? Getting rid doesn't mean anyone better would be interested in taking over.

 

That might be the case....so the plan might be f#cked before it's even started! Or on the other hand GA might fit the plan.

 

I think it will be more a case of trying to fit the plan to GA. Whether that's a good idea or a disaster waiting to happen I'm not sure!

 

No but I think we need a proper recruitment this time. Sharpe will no doubt be assessing the type of manager we need both medium and long term. GA might have to change his style to accommodate us!

MK Dons blew it big time today. They were poor at our place, they will be lining up in league 2 with us next season I reckon

 

They are a strange team after getting heavily beat twice recently, listening to their manager saying we have a way of playing and I applaud the players for sticking with it, surely its the managers job to give his team the freedom to change when things are not going as planned.
4 against us without reply, 5 against Stockport without reply, and 4 again today against Mansfield.

 

And in those games they had 72%,65% and 64% possession.

Seems there is a lot of huffing and puffing but no end result in some games.

 

Couple of wins against crap teams and suddenly everyone is happy with him again.

 

They badly need a focal point in their attack, they do play some neat build up play, with a decent front man they'd have been in the autos.

 

The problem at our club are above Alexander - sort out the shit at top first, then take aim at Alexander.

 

They all need removing, yes.
