The latest virtue signalling show of strength is 'taking a knee'. Cops and national guard now being 'persuaded' to take one while on duty as a show of unity. Some have although as i've witnessed not all. Wonder if the ones that don't will become part of what we see over here with the Poppy on armistice day, where if you for some reason don't wear one you have a virtual label attached to you as some sort of denier or unbeliever?

 

No doubt. Weve had clap for carers on doorsteps during covid. Assuming there'll be a kneel for black lives matters on your doorsteps movement now too. Which is fine for those that want to make some sort of gesture. But it'll be interesting to see whether anyone is persecuted for not taking part. Slippery slope all this virtuous, moral grandstanding.

 

Was an interesting interview on Newsnight with the Head of Policing Minneapolis 2012-2017, She revealed it was almost impossible to sack officers because of the power of the police unions in most cities and the review bodies that would quash any discipline and reinstate officers, She revealed the officer concerned had 17 previous reprimands for violence and yet was not able to be sacked because of union power and that even with previous murders of black citizens even caught on camera it was difficult to prosecute because of police opposition, She revealed police chiefs in most US cities are controlled by the police unions and even in the area she was in control in Minneapolis the head of the police Union was a known white supremacist.

 

And that’s why ‘they’ have strategic control. It only takes one to control thousands.

 

Just watching an article about the George Floyd situation on the BBC looking at the sign behind one of the Black women it looks like there is going to be a rally in the near future let's hope it stays peaceful.

The rally is in Hyde Park today, not sure how that will be policed if thousands attend.

 

Highly unlikely to be peaceful in my opinion. And certain to have no thought for social distancing.

You can have a natural belief in striving for equality (without needing a banner on FB), you can also see that this awful crime committed, and condemnation of it and the subsequent ‘black lives matter’ does not automatically mean white or all lives don’t. It’s amazing how things gets swung round. It’s almost as if someone wants that to be the case and the real crux of the matter is then lost in the sea of social media commentary.

 

Tyson Fury now stoking the social media frenzy fire on GMTV with his 'whites are victims of racism too'. Twitter users incensed 'travellers ain't no race' lol. Get those top trump racist cards out, see who can be most offended by the white man. When the shit goes down i'm using my joker 'my in laws were Jews who fled persecution in Nazi Germany', i think i'm safe with that one.

 

So in support of this shocking incident in America a peaceful rally could escalate to a similar situation to the Tottenham riots, let's hope not.

My wife works in a school with a significant BAME population. I was speaking to her last night about this topic and she's told me (not for the first time) that she's lost count of the time's she's been called a 'White Bitch'. I asked her roughly how often it happens. 'At least a couple of times a month, probably most weeks' was her answer.
