Totally disagree. The damaged was done when hiring Collins and being allowed too. Having Collins and Drury as 1 & 2 was an utter disgraceful decision. We all knew it was a massive mistake but the media like that seem to do with the happy clapper let's all be friends with Bradford City just let it happen.

Our problems and mess seems to be as a club we've this soft core. This let's all me bloody mates. Like a little boys club! It's embarrassing! And one of the reasons we fail!

Hopkin had a purple patch in December but in truth he shouldn't of been appointed when he was. He should of been appointed before Collins. In pre season! He came from the Scottish league and for me they is a massive difference between Livingston and league 1. Let's all be honest the Scottish league is bloody sh&te.

We roll in to Jan buzzing and with hope! Then three things happen:

1) The disgraceful treatment of Wright, Riley and others he wanted out.

2) The Barnsley match

3) Lack of quality transfer by the owner and signing sh&te like Billy Clarke to cover cracks.

All the above happened and if not I am certain we would of got out of this mess. Hopkin messed up, the board messed up, the media messed up and fans messed up!

In steps Bowyer, a safe choice. A choice I wouldn't of made but he's here and then in a must win game he makes more madness decisions then Collins and his man has years of experience. To play Clarke on the right when he's all left foot, to play Butterfield on the left, drop L'OB, play Anderson and keep him on for 90mins then sub Butterfield for Payne just makes you think the board can't pick a decent manager!!

Every manager that comes to VP is amazed about where we find ourselves in the league. We do have a decent squad. Yes, not a squad for automatic or the play offs but certainly midtable.

If we go down then heads need to roll. Fans, media, the board, the manager, the owner need
a god dam head look at themselves! The club had been nothing short of an embarrassment and we can't blame Edin or Josh Wright for everything that's happened this season that's for sure!

Let's not forget that it was COLLINS who didn't panic in the final week of the Summer window, when it was clear to see there were still gaping holes in the squad !
Nor should we forget that it was COLLINS who totally fecked up pre season training, if you can call it that.

 

Just talking to my Oxford mate. Could not understand why our best midfielder (Payne) was on the bench? I heard he was sick?

 

It wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference who was appointed manager while Rahic was still here. Can you not see what the problem was? It wasn't the fault of any individual player, nor was it solely the fault of any of the managers here under Rahic's reign. Through the whole tenure of Rahic, fundamental problems at the top have caused us to be where we are now. We can look for fault every Saurday at 5.00pm but ultimately this ship has been going down bit by bit every day Rahic was here. Only once every trace of the obnoxious Twit has been removed can we start to repair the damage.

 

The damage was done when Rahic first walked through the door, we've been a ticking time bomb ever since.

The fans barring @Ricc didn't do their jobs.
The media certainly didn't do their jobs.
The board didn't.

Can't blame or allow one man to take down an operation.

Have you lost the plot? Everything breaks down back to one man. Why do you think we couldn't strengthen in January? The players brought in we're pretty much given to us. What board are you blaming? There wasn't one, only Rahic. Rupp was the money man and gave Rahic plenty of backing, more backing than we've had for years. And exactly how are the media to blame? And as for blaming the fans? What do you expect them to do?

You blame Edin! I think he's 90% to blame but it's 2019 and you're saying 1 man can take down a football club. Think you need to look at yourself and the non part you played. Not to worry though you have a cheap season ticket to buy next season if you wish.

I have always wondered why Lawn & Rhodes sold the club to two
people who had the "finances" to take the club forward but the
money man wasn't a football man so there was this question of
will the money man really put his money in or did Rahic kid them
he was loaded too?

One man comes along manages to kid Rupp, Rhodes, Lawn, the board, the media and the fans.

Some have said on here this process of achieving a recovery is
going to take a while and it will. The summer recruitment looked
impressive but it emphasised how difficult it is to recruit the right
players to add to the squad,never mind a total overhaul due to
Rahic believing ( correctly?) that the players were against him.

The players "don't fit" and with a change in attitude giving longer
contracts and high wages has stuck the "knife" in deep.

Our survival may not be about whether we stay in league one or
not,it will be about longer term survival from a financial aspect,
before we can start to hope for a better league status.

New owners who are passionate about football is important,an
owner who is not interested won't fulfil our hopes.

Yep,and no doubt wanted their investments back before they lost it.
However,as "City" fans they said they would only sell to someone who
could do what they couldn't,the obvious question (with hindsight) is
the wrong person had all the money but I guess Rahic convinced them
he would make us worldbeaters!

 

But mate ........... Firstly - Edin managed to hoodwink Stefan (the cash man), and systematically duped all oncomers there after by just saying the right things at the right time. THAT is how chancers work - And you don't know you've been had, until it's too late.
Let's be honest here ........ Show me ONE post which seriously doubted Rahic, on DAY ONE. The only person I NOW know that didn't like it was Parky - And the majority of fans saw Parky as the villain, not Rahic.
