He seems to have a good eye for talent both loan and permanent. He signed Cairney and Gestede I think at Blackburn for peanuts and sold them for millions.

The above hasn't been a strictly Bowyer thing has it? They've been like this all season minus December for three different managers, I'm not sure that it's a coincidence or genuinely the players can not play as a group or work hard.

I'm certain Pep Guardiola couldn't get a win out of this bunch, and it would be completely unfair to judge him on this season. Questionable decisions but the reality is we've needed to at least try something different. It's not working and in my eyes he'd be a bad manager if he didn't recognise he had to change something.

The sooner we get the manager sorted for next season the better. Uncertainty over last summer is partly to blame for the trouble we now find ourselves in.

I think we can all agree that the majority of the current players are not fit to wear the shirt so I won’t judge Bowyer on this season and would happily see him stay on next season. Let’s hope the board get it sorted soon.

so basically you're saying that anything bad that happened under Rhodes/Lawn was 100% their fault but anything good was complete luck. You do know they appointed Parkinson don't you. Also, look at the team Parky put together under their ownership. It was worth about as much a broken table but I would swap every player we have now for one of those. Edin has shown us what poor leadership and ownership looks like and frankly, it looks shite all like Bradford City under Lawn and Rhodes, who did a much better job.

You need to stop drinking or abusing psychedelics or whatever it is thats got you frothing at the mouth. I'd rather have Rhodes than Edin, Bowyer is an infinitely better choice than fatty Evans so you're just going to have to accept it.

It’s not the first time this squad of players have put that kind of performance in. Hopkin and Collins will vouch for that.

These players gave up a long time ago, most wont be here next season and those still contracted know they’ll be pushed towards the door. I’m not surprised they’ve lost interest.

Your not going to get that quality of player in League 2 we're more competing with Harrogate Town for players next season !

It’s about contacts and how the young players are looked after. There is no reason we can’t find some good loans next season

We pissed a load of money up the wall this season and look where that got us, the right players aren't always the most expensive and to think you'd have to pay loads in fees to put a good L2 team together is silly.

Until we’re a settled club again I can’t see many clubs wanting to send out their better youngsters to us. We need experience not inexperience.

Talking of Harrogate. Just watching them playing Salford. Poor quality from both teams. Looking like setpieces the likliest either side will score from. Currently 0-0

    Good news.

Be good to get him and Todd tied down now, and they can get on preparing for next season, as soon as we know which division we will be playing in.

Last summer was such an amateurish farce in every aspect, which has set back the club so much

I listened to the radio Leeds interview he did today and thought he came across very well. He’s obviously keen to do the re-build and doesn’t seem too concerned that we’re just about down. Anyone who’s written him off needs their heads tested. I doubt even the likes of Brian Clough, Bob Paisley or Alex Ferguson could have got anything extra out of the current bunch of wasters

Was a really good interview.. Something that stood out a mile though was right at the beginning, when he was talking about injuries and players getting back in the squad etc. He said danny devine played his first 60 min game in about 4 or 5 months this week. To me thats just ridiculous, he has been injured for less than a month as he as otherwise been on the bench every week.
Could it be that part of the reason we have been so shit, is the fact that owing to the reserve side and development team been scrapped, none of those outside the first 11 are actually "match fit" therefor they cannot simply come in to the side when needed.
Im guessing devine isnt alone in that fact and there are other players in the same situation.
Skint or not, at least one non first team side needs bringing back next season

OR - For a lot more 'behind closed door' games, which have to be more beneficial than endless training ...... Or else what exactly are you training for ?
