That's just the way some people are, nothing wrong with that, everyone is entitled to an opinion.
It's the old glass half empty/full syndrome. Me I'm a glass half full sort of character (until events prove me wrong). Funny that really because when it comes to beer I am the exact opposite, when my pint is halfway down I start feeling sad.

 

Vardy doesn't follow Leicester's dietary guidelines and is allowed to do what works for him, apparently it involves a lot of Red Bull. As for Gareth Evans time will tell.

 

Honestly gobsmacked! I didn't think he'd want to return, he wasn't exactly a fan's favourite last time and I thought that would've dissuaded him.

 

Is this a factor in his signing? Stuart has shown his exasperation at our having no leader.

 

Compared to Magic, he's a spring chicken. Are you suggesting that Magic only came here to see his time out?

 

We'll could find out tomorrow, I'm not against keepers being Captains but you could be correct with regards Gareth who did the Captains job at Pompey.

How is that relevant to our record of signing players on their way down, particularly whilst in Leagues 1 and 2?

 

It is a neutral response for me.

I think he's a decent player, and it's a good signing, but where is he going to play? Right wing - we've got Zelly and Dylan. the number 9 role, we've got Billy Clarke. Obviously he's better than those three, but kind of weird that our first proper signing is for a position we've already got filled, yet have others which remain open.

Penalty taker I think. I'll put him down on my prediction for tmrw!

 

That’s my point. I don’t think its a bad signing as such, and I’ll reserve judgement until we see how he does. My point is, if his legs are going a bit, he could decline quickly and the drop from League 1 to League 2 might expose him. There’s not a huge difference between the standard of most of each league.

He’s 32!! How many injuries has he had the last ten years? When you say very short sighted do you mean your lack of research?

 

I’m not really bothered about ‘well known’.

And I don’t think it’s a bad signing. I’m just nervous about whether it’ll be another case of a player dropping down the leagues after his legs start to go a bit, and drops off in terms of quality very quickly. Lets hope he’s more Beagrie than McLean.

 

I'm not sure what position is his best or where he will play but I do think that his leadership on the pitch will be helpful. We could have done with him last weekend to organise us after the red cards.
