    Yeah I quite like this one. Not sure where he will line up but a good reputation at Portsmouth and has been captain recently too.

    No idea what to expect from him as a player, but he's an obvious leader and good character, which we're badly missing. Interesting to see where we play him

    Good signing should offer some goals at this level

    Will be a meltdown for some on here. Another McCall old boy - his little black book, no ambition etc. let the fun begin!!

    we are in the basement league with new financial restrictions, don’t think all the clubs who started will finish.

    And now with the salary cap in place, another Donaldson situation would place an additional burden on both the squad number restrictions and the salary cap itself. I don't see these changes being reflected yet in our current recruitment approach. It appears to me as a very short sighted approach.

    Not overly excited by this. Can he improve the team? Yes

    He's slow though and our team urgently needs pace and I question like Clarke & Donaldson is he in retirement mindset.

    Just not sure at all..McCall needs to burn his little black book. LAZY recruitment.

    I'm mostly alarmed at the idea of having very few leaders in a squad full of experienced pros.

    Donaldson, Guthrie, Novak, Clarke, O'Donnell, A O'Connor, Pritchard, BRE, all 27+, all got plenty of game time.

    Does make me wonder what those aging strikers actually bring to the table, given it's obviously not goals.

    32? That's not an aging pro in the modern era. I think Jamie Vardy is older and the coaches at Licester say he is actually getting quicker. The only time his age would be relevant is if he has had a lot of injuries but I don't think he has.
