Perreira could prove to be an asset. Good ball control, can get past players but sometimes ran too far. Knackered after an hour.

Thinking about both games, we defiantly deserved something from the Swindon home game and rode our luck at times today, as it turns out where we may have been happy with a point from each game I'm delighted with all 3 from todays game.

That bloke wouldn't know a celebration if it smacked him on the nose. Miserable so and so.

100% agree. His overall demeanour even as I am watching and listening via IFollow and the radios, the performances he is already influencing and to hear how he articulates himself, it’s almost a ‘sense check’ feeling that we have this guy managing our club.

Not surprising he tired before the 90 minutes. He has had no game time for quite a while.

I know. He looks like a target man but that really isn't his game. His close control is pretty dire - very few balls played into his feet stick there.

What a win, even though we’re ending mid table Saturdays always feel better with a win especially away at the league leaders. Especially against these shithouses, still fall over at a gust of wind somethings will never change.

He's a BTEC poacher. In a promotion hunting team he'd be a backup.

    Agree with your last sentence.
    Fully expected it under Cooper.
They will argue that they are top of the league and I’m sure the fans won’t give a shit but it’s weird that even under a brand new manager they are still happy to go with that style.

The only team I've been impressed by this season is Exeter.

The rest are just more solid defensively than we are and better at the basics. They don't really 'play better football'

Really enjoyed that. Obviously a great result but a good performance too. Bit lucky with some of the last ditch defending that could've gone the other way on another day and we didn't create an awful lot but for once we took our chances. Clear what Hughes is trying to do and how he is trying to have us playing and with quality additions in the summer, the signs are promising. For the first time since August though, the players look like they actually believe too.

When Hughes gets this team fully up and running I expect Cooks limitations to be make him at best a squad player. Bar the open goal today he contribution was minimal.

Even given FGR were on a poor run (for them) it was always going to be a big challenge for all 11 but quite pleased with what I saw of the lad Pereira happy to take the ball and go forward, and substituting him for Walker after 63 minutes was a good call, Pereira got over 60 minutes under his belt and Walker was eased back, and obviously the 3 points were a bonus

This game showed the real difference between what proper proper managers do with a couple of weeks coaching a new side, as opposed to the cynical Derek Adams draw at all cost approach. Hughes and Snodin have brought a real sense of footballing pride back into the players - you're good enough, now you just need to think harder and we'll show you a way to do that. Today's win was a joy = winning away at the runaway league leaders because the players believed in themselves because of the way the management team are moving them forward. Love it. So long since we've been able to celebrate a truly positive win.
