I know it may seem daft but Cook took it well, he knew he was not the fastest and could possibly hear they were closing in on him so took a final touch to control it then pushed it into an open goal.

What a result - wow!! Listen, we were lucky in that FGR missed chances and we were definitely helped by the sending off. However there is something evidently improved since Hughes has come in - he’s managed to inspire some passion, belief and desire back into the team. They look more confident and playing for their shirt.

Sutton’s intro was perfectly timed and he has a great impact on the game for us. POC and Songo’o - fair play - battled and blocked well and Bass behind them was very assured on crosses.

Like Swindon, again the midfield had a much greater influence on the game. For me it’s the most significant improvement since Hughes came in.

 

Sparky is a much needed breath of fresh air for this club. He has already galvanised the fans and players alike.

He comes across so calm, professional and friendly. Despite his glittering career, he seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself here, long may that continue

 

You should know Bradford City by now @Smartmart, not a vintage performance but certainly a great battling performance.

Great result, I had funny feeling we might win this one. We deserved it after playing so well last week. We didn’t play as well as last week, but we dug in.
