Well only if you wanted a Chicken Balti Pie and not a meat and potatoe or steak for instance.

They did have hot water but the Bovril cups are about a third shorter than last year and 30p more so a MESSAGE TO THE CATERING COMPANY YOU HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS. Will buy before the game now. Absolute piss take.

The reason I asked was because of the comments on Saturday and then I just saw the T&A article where they offered what appeared to be a full on acceptance of Saturday being rubbish and promising to get it better.

12 bottles for around £8 wholesale so quite a mark up from around 65p to £2.30

I can’t remember the last time a bottle of coke cost less than £2 in a football ground or any other sports venue for that matter.

Normally go in b and m for a bottle at a quid a go (or thereabouts). Huge mark up there alone.

Rarely do I buy in the ground.

The bottles usually work out cheaper than getting a pint of coke at the bar

Do people still take flasks? Probably not allowed now.
I used to like the Boxing Day games when people used to offer their tins of Quality Street round. Probably not allowed now.

It would be good if there was a couple of water sellers dotted around because if you're in a rush you don't want to queue behind people buying beer and pies

Pound a bottle plenty of profit probably going to sell more than coke zero at 2.30

Remember when football grounds went through a phase of removing the caps off bottles before they let you in. Daft

Grabbed a balti pie before the game. The Kiosk staff were very polite. The pie was like molten lava. Once it cooled down it was very pleasant. Big improvement on the Saturday shambles.
