I think if Adams had lived up to his billing we would have been up there yes he had the budget. As for wanting 10m it’s another one of these things that comes from speculation and is turned into fact. If there were serious people out there who had the wherewithal and were being knocked back I am sure we would have heard and a protest might be appropriate I don’t think there is

You take it as speculation, I’ve heard it from someone who’s very much in a position to know.

Despite a string of managers and players who succeed elsewhere, continually failing here, you fail to recognise the problem.

Other than that nonsensical membership scheme that Arsenal and West Ham touted back in the 90's (I think) give us some footie protests that worked.

"Worked" means that as a result of legitimate fan action (not hooligans terrorising the Oldham owner's family) it resulted in the sale of a football club and that club ended been better off.

Given your aggressive response - you must know of some? I can think of several that resulted in nothing happening / or went on so long it merely devalued the club involved, i.e. Charlton.

Please put your you know what, where you big mouth is.

It’s amazing in things such as this people are “in the know” who have you heard it from.

I’ve heard it from 2 places, first hand. One from someone who works in the media and has close ties to the club, and another who works for a consultancy firm who were affiliated with a willing buyer, acting on their behalf. For obvious reasons, I’m not going to name names.

Several other people who I know, have heard similar.

City are a joke club, you go on the bbc sport website for a match report of any L2 club and there will be the attendence number given,
Except City as they dont give out the actual number of attendees/inmates.

If that’s the case then let’s hear it from the people involved so it’s out there publicly that Rupp is being unreasonable. I think that Rupp now would snap someone hands off for an offer close to what he paid

    Oh dear! Someone's getting a tad over-emotional.....

"Its an insult to say we cant take action!" - I've never said you can't. I did actually say I admire your passion. Next you'll be saying that I think Rupp is excellent and the best Chairman ever.

The European Super League, was a national protest actually led by governments, which was an obvious non-starter.

You're busy protesting about an owner who continues to invest and give us a decent playing budget - they are miles apart in terms of 'worthyness'

Your Port Vale shout, is a great one. So that's one that I'll agree, in the interests of been magnanimous worked.

But are you saying Rupp is as bad as Smurthwaite? Really? On what grounds.

My point is, that the situation is not grave enough to warrant such emotional outpourings. The next appointment is key, because that will coincide with the new regime, Sparks having three goes at it and been in place for more than two years.

Things simply are not bad enough to warrant this OTT suicide plan.

With our ground situation, who better than Rupp is buying us? We can't rely on a rich Russian anymore. Some bitcoin guru perhaps? Peter Pan?

But never mind, let's force Rupp out and head to the National League. At least we'll be happy, eh?

He isn't going to get what he paid, nor does he deserve to.

Sorry, but if you run a business very badly you will lose money. The value of the business decreases.

    None of this is unknown.

He has cost himself a lot of money, and that's all his fault, not ours

Jesus wept do you actually believe that he's investing in this club??? We're self sustaining to enable him not to put money in, that's the whole fecking point.

We had an offer to buy the club, and by all accounts it wasn't even the first offer he's knocked back. You can't tell me WAGMI would have overseen anything worse than this.

Hear it from which people involved? The people interested in buying? That's completely unethical, you can't disclose commercially sensitive information in a public manner like that Park, it leaves you open to Lawsuits and looks massively unprofessional. Look at WAGMI as a case in point, and they seemed to think a deal was agreed.

Yep! The destruction of lots of families livelihoods is no more important than whether we can get an owner who gives us better than a Top 7 L2 budget : unamused:

Keep em coming. But wait until tonight as your post are brilliant entertainment and need to enjoy one of my nice wines whilst reading

It's very easy to give 100% when the workplace is operating efficiently but it's a tough place to go when people berate your every move. I'd defy anyone to go to their place of work and want to give 100% if the working conditions are bad.

Well alright then if there are people out there reading this or otherwise who have the wherewithal who have approached Rupp and believe he is acting unreasonable then go public then a protest might have a point.

I think you'll find that Rupp has spent more than he's taken out since he joined us.

I've no idea why fans seem to get exercised about us been self sustaining, when that still gives us a good L2 budget.

What do you want? Perhaps an owner like Power at Swindon, who totally overstretched himself and they got into serious trouble?

The protest does have a point.

Rupp needs to publicly announce the club is for sale, at a reasonable price - say 3 million.

We can't ask anymore than that.

You telling me that proposed takeovers never get publicised of course they do. There are ways and means.

An owner with actual interest in football, a CEO that wasn't the social media admin 2 years ago, an actual professional structure for a professional football club. Not much to ask for really, even lawn and Rhodes managed to start putting that in place while trying to be self sustaining.
