The 'attendance' on the T&A and the match report as 14,512 (including 704 Harrogate supporters). Given we've got around 13,000 season ticket holders that is a very low attendance and one of the lowest of the season

 

I wasn’t there but looking at Twitter pictures of all sides of the ground I would be flabbergasted if the true figure was over 6,000 last night. Probably nearer the 5k mark.

 

Think back not long ago we were struggling along with a considerable worst team today with threats of moving out of VP and taking the stand with us we appointed Parky and a couple of years later we were on the cusp of the championship.
Listen if there were people out there who were desperate to buy into this club with a vision and deep pockets and Rupp was knocking back fair offers then I would say protests were justified but I don’t think there is.

What’s changed in terms of our need to resolve the VP question as our home? We’re much closer to the end of the lease, with no solution in sight.

Rupp has been knocking back fair offers. He bought the club 6m, relegated, more than halved the value of the squad and now wants 10m.

Do you not see what’s right before your eyes? You really do just think this is about finding the right manager don’ t you Park…..?

 

On the cusp of the championship then Rupp buys us, 5 years later we're worse than we were before the parky era. We can't just keep praying the next manager will be another parky, and as noted above parky was backed with extra funding. That isn't going to happen under Rupp. And we did have an offer from a group with deep pockets, but because his ego was bruised he knocked them back while everyone cried about NFTs and crypto (despite their bid and funding being in GBP).

He had the option to get out, knocked it back, claimed to be the proud custodian and then did nothing to back himself. His leadership has left us on the brink and without him going we'll be watching non league football within the next 2 seasons
