Let's just also be clear that it's not acceptable to have a go at fans that still want to go.
There will inevitably be a few.
They can take some photos from inside the stadium, should be good for a laugh.

I don't go, not because I'm disinterested, but because I refuse to enable the manner in which the club is being run and how fans are being treated. You keep going, keep being fed shit, and lied to, if that makes you 'happy'.

Ten million for what exactly?
You're proving nothing here outside the fact people WILL buy us if the price is right, beyond which they can run us sustainably.
You and @banbrotam are making nonsensical arguments.
Again, the ONLY barrier is Rupp's asking price, and the reason it's so high is because he's done such a poor job he's cost himself a ton of money.
He needs to deal with that, not us.ModernBantam, bantam2708, WilsdenBantam and 2 others like this. -
However, we'd be capable of succeeding on a reasonably sustainable, self funded basis if we simply had an owner who cared enough to select and pay for a capable leader to actually run the club properly, with genuine ambition, nous, leadership expertise and gravitas, instead of just leaving us to flounder.Stop hovering to collapse... I just want to say this. I have supported this club since 1967, my first match. We have gone through trials and tribulations over the years. This is a first, our owner couldn’t care less about a club he own’s The consequences of not caring or sitting around waiting for a mythical figure is devastating our club. Ryan Sparks is doing his best, but this cannot be down to one man to run this club!
You only had to look at empty seats last night, when was the last time that happened? The club have had our support through thick and thin, but now due to a lack of care, the fans have also decided they don’t care either. That is the situation; it can be retrieved, it will require investment and a feeling/ a plan that our club and the fans not only deserve much better, but also action to sort this terrible malaise.weewhiskydram, vladimir, WilsdenBantam and 2 others like this. -
Refusing to sell and doing nothing with the club isn't an option. That's not being a 'proud custodian'. -

Just imagine if Evans gets the gig before the Swindon game...
Half boycotting to get Rupp out.
T'other half boycotting because Evans is in charge.
Would you have to specify your particular reason?Bantamsteve, JonButterfield, vladimir and 1 other person like this. -

A few members on here boycotting the match will make no difference whatsoever. You would never garner enough interest with the many thousands who don't do social media.
The most effective way of protest in my opinion is a vocal one inside the ground. It helped get shut of AdamsBronco, Manningham bantam, Inspector and 1 other person like this. -

Sorry, but if you run a business very badly you will lose money. The value of the business decreases.
None of this is unknown.

Yep! The destruction of lots of families livelihoods is no more important than whether we can get an owner who gives us better than a Top 7 L2 budget

Perhaps they make informal contact with an intermediate who tells them this is the price and then they walk away.
Buying a football club isn’t like Karen moaning on Facebook about the price of Turkey Twizzlers in Aldi. Investors don’t go on Twitter or Bantam Talk to moan about the price, they shrug their shoulders and look for somewhere else to spend their money.
On the field the club doesn’t need more than the current playing budget so that’s a moot point, it needs off the field spending to make sure that the good budget isn’t wasted on players with glass hamstrings or missing loanees.
As for investors who get bored after three seasons in league two, remind me, just how much interest have we actually seen from Stefan? He’s spoken publicly three times in the last three years, and Ryan tells us so often that he speaks daily with Stefan that I’m starting to suspect it’s not true.ModernBantam, Faithful Bantam, Dennis and 1 other person like this. -

The greatest shame in all this, is the simple fact 'a boycott' has been suggested. Whether said protest evolves is IMO, immaterial.
The disconnect, frustration amongst the fanbase towards all sections of the club from the manager, CEO, Rupp, ambassadors and 'in fighting' amongst some of our fanbase is really sad.
Whatever the outcome of this 'boycott', which I support for the record, the club need to take serious note and I feel, speak to its supporters.
I stated this last night but I'd like to reiterate if I may. Let's be respectful and debate fairly as a fanbase to one another. Irrespective of views, we all ultimately want the same thing for our club.meelin, Faithful Bantam, Stevay_b and 1 other person like this. -

One thing is for certain though, many fans see any chance of progress under Rupp and Sparks as very slim indeed and in fact many have stopped attending because of the lack of success. That alone is a reason to seek change.Biker, WilsdenBantam, Onside and 1 other person like this.
