Why you mention Kellerher??
He hasn't played for ages.
The fact Staunton is out on loan and Kellerher never plays isn't the contributing factor to these last 3 months.
The fact the team can't see out winning positions and don't press hard enough in midfield combined with we have no quality strikers or a competent keeper makes it a very tough situation for the manager.
Im really not happy with whats happening but im in the mindset of, just give up on this season, get 4 players in January, finish as strongly as possible, then add 4 more in the summer and lets then see what we can do.
Its exactly the same time frame as what PP got, and to some extents Paul Jewell.
Other wise we are starting all over again.
The players are shit, most have never ever won promotion, been on cup runs, captained previous clubs.
We need league 1 and 2 experienced promotion winners, players who have captained and have leadership skills.
Only Canavan, Songo'o and Cook should be here next season around the 1st team.
The rest can do one.

The point was more that he hasn’t given the likes of Staunton a chance and to be fair the few times I have seen Kelleher he has looked like Bambi on ice and only able to pass the ball backwards (which I appreciate a lot of them do).

Exactly. Obviously during the first half the team were, on the whole, doing their jobs (apart from sticking it in the net). So if they are not doing what he wants them to do in the second half, why isn't he on the edge of his area shouting at them and instructing. He can see they are floundering, its up to him to organise them as a team

 

Look at the photo on the T&A website. Look at the expressions of our two stooges, compared to the animated Matt Taylor. Fans are blaming the players when the BIG problem is staring them in the face.

These are the more or less the same players who had such a good August (Cook accepted)
Maybe other managers quickly sussed us and we don't have a clue what to do next
Either way it's not Mr Adams fault so blame the tea lady, pie man, kit manager they are all at fault

 

He’s not blameless but at least give him a chance to rectify things in the transfer window. He’s hamstrung by not having a good enough squad to change things (of which he’s partly to blame). Let’s see the calibre of player he brings into the club, then he has no excuses.

 

Different managers have different styles that match their characters, this has always been the case. Adams has a lot to do to convince most City fans he's a 'winner' but to beat him up because he's not animated like Taylor is a bit harsh. This is just how he is, trust me throwing his arms around isn't going to get a tune out of most of these players

Our team is struggling and very low budget but he's not making much headway yet
I would give him every chance and still will but am hard pushed to see where the cash is coming from in January
to bring in some "calibre" players unless you know different putting the managers role under great scrutiny
At the moment he is failing his reputation and not exactly endearing himself (not that he would care)to the fans or even the players

 

But surely when the team are floundering they should look to their manager for guidance, to tell them what they need to do. Animated or not I can't recall seeing much instruction coming from the dug out

Don't get me wrong, as a fan we all love to see passion from our manager (think of Conte v Man U). But a lot of animation is just that - of the get stuck in, raise the pace variety.
Adams way of instructions seem to work in the first half of matches and he is right, if the players did their job we would often have a safety buffer by half time.
He won't be telling them to fall away and crumble like a pack of cards in the 2nd half and I honestly think he is at a loss with their pathetic mentality - this does not excuse him but lets face it our soft centre has been evident long before Adams came

I agree one thing that doesn’t work is having an assistant manager who is just the same, arms folded and undemonstrative
