The fans are getting spin from the top, pathetic recruiting is to blame for a large part of this mess.

and I have no faith in our players,most of the team are still here from the season before in which we were awful.

 

I'll tell you how I want them to react. I want them to be furious. I want them to have some self respect and pride and be determined to prove their manager wrong and show that they are worthy to wear the shirt. The sad thing is that I already know that won't happen.

 

You need to get over the whole Plymouth thing, they don't care about you.

T'was just a few months ago whilst he was manager of the mahoosive Bratfurd that he had a go at us calling us a club with no ambition (Lol - bit ironic given the league table and who progressed last night to round two of the FA Cup)

Yesterday he also stopped us taking a quick free kick and then prevented Josh Key from having a throw-in. The guy is a perennial cockwomble.

That's before we get started on his constant whinging and attitude problems in all of his post match interviews.

I note he's also is sulking over the fact you had to play the replay down in Exeter and wanted it at a neutral venue. I wonder if Cambridge will be calling for the same when/if we draw at the Abbey.

NB; Plymouth care about us a bit too much. Just the other day they all hopped off the train coming back from their away game just to take a picture of themselves with a flag outside Exeter St Davids. They're mightily obsessed with the better half of Devon.

He was brought here as THE man who gets weak underperforming teams promoted with little or no budget
According to Mr Sparks he was fully involved in all transfer activity whilst still employed by Morecambe
He HAS to take some responsibility not shrug his shoulders and say it's not his fault (he is employed to sort it) what on earth is said at half time beggars belief our 1st and 2nd half performances are chalk and cheese
He constantly picks the likes of Gilliead and OD even Stevie Wonder can see they are not good enough
He knew the players and more importantly the management before he joined
Should Mr Sparks react before the January window it proves there is no budget
Struggling to think of a solution but I do know it's not to continue as we are

 

I get the having a go at Adams and the players but why have a go at Kellerher, the hasn't even been playing. He's played very few games and the game at Salford they took Henderson off because Kelleher had him in his pocket.

You don't need to go onto other forums to realise that, read some of the comments on here.

 

With a 3 year contract and say £2k a week contract (don't know if figure feasible), DA would be entitled, surely, to severance pay.

Now, his wages to be paid amount on my simple figure of c£1/4m over 3 years ...if he gets £50k/£100k/£150k/£200k/£250k....where does that money come from, whether all in one go or over a period of months/years?

I may be wrong but recruitment would suffer further if we had to pay severance and appoint a new manager.

 

Which is cheaper? Paying say £300k compensation or another failed season and the prospect of drastically reduced income from season ticket sales and commercial income or even worse relegation?

Adams being prepared to tell it as it is doesnt go down too well with some fans, yes he selects the team formation etc yet time after time the players don't do their jobs like it or not, there not excuses but facts.
I'd suggest his comment with regards recruitment says it all, were not privy to what goes on behind the scenes but bringing Turnbull in and Ryan saying this is the way the club go with regards recruitment going forward, then less than 12 months into the jobTurnbull is shown the door.
Adams has made if quite clear his management style is not the way Ryan envisaged and wants his own team scouting etc, which for me is the way a league two club should be managed the manager does the recruiting and is judged on how those players perform.

 

Or a third option of not paying compensation and achieving our targets, with a (lot of) patience.

Optimism eh?

 

We really are a one half team aren't we.
Every god damn game, play fantastic 1st half, dominate, create chances, score 1 goal.
2nd half just totally lose our heads and composure.
Why??
What happens in that changing room at half time ffs!!!???

 

Or paying £300k compensation, bring in a new manager, ditch a load of players, buy a load of players then sack new manager in December and repeat. By which point we are further down the league than we are now. Why not use the £300k to strengthen the squad?
