And the lad Yeats also on loan from Rotherham, I believe in those two alone they have scored 20 of Swindons 26 goals so far this seaon.

So, to define this correctly ....... Play Doyle OUT of his natural (ability) position, or leave him on the bench, to rot ?
WHAT makes you think we'll go up WITH Doyle, than without him ?
WE all know GB rarely plays TWO up front. Doyle has ALREADY proved he can't be THAT single figurehead.
Therefore ..... WHAT, in your opinion has changed ????

Is it embarrassing for Chelsea every time Mo Salah scores for Liverpool?

Better to leave him where he is Dave
Everyone knew he was capable of scoring goals in this division
His abilities are way beyond was is required for L2
Some will quite rightly argue we didn't play to his strengths but the transformation in him
shows that there was more to it than meets the eye I don't think he was ever happy with us and it showed leave last seasons abject failures well alone
I am quite happy for him to stay where he is and for us to demand they pay a larger % of his wages the threat of warming our bench should put him onside

Yes apparently he was more than happy to leave, I'd hope bringing him back to sit on the bench would be the last resort to not helping another rival as you say, we are not a charity so either Swindon up their contributions towards his wage or we take him back.

Considering he left Chelsea, developed over a couple of years and became the player he is today, not really. We let Doyle go knowing his ability, just not playing to his strengths.

Why can’t we just sell him to Swindon in Jan, and they can then pay him whatever they want. Use the money to fund our promotion push.

I think the only reason Swindon took him on loan was because we were paying a large part if not all his wages.

No play him in his natural position but play him to his strengths which is not making him think he's a midfielder.

I believe that with Donaldson, Vaughan and Doyle we would have the best 3 forwards in the league and if one isn't on form or needs a rest then having one of them to step in or come on as sub(If Bowyer uses subs that is) is perfect.

I think at any level that 4 top fowards are required.

As for Bowyer not playing 2 up top. Yes, he does but with Donaldson out and we don't have Doyle then he will play with one up.

Think Bowyer needs to prove he can get the best out of forwards.

just not convinced he would do the business the way Bowyer would want to him to plsy ie back to goal just like the way Vaughan is deployed.

In my mind Bowyer is still to prove he is the right man for the job
It's a very poor league and we are in a play off spot so far so good
But this is a results business and should they start to fail then we will see his true abilities
To be fair to him lots of Premiership clubs have "Big Name " players who are not performing which says more anout the player than the manager which I believe to be true in Doyle's case

I say Bowyer is a negative manager and this is one of the reasons why.

No, because he is not on Chelsea's books. Doyle is on our books, and we are paying him a decent wage to score goals for fun for one of our promotion rivals, so Fordy is spot on, it is embarrassing, and a right kick in the teeth, seeing as our strike force, lauded by many as the best in league 2, are struggling badly for goals

He can play up top alone BUT not if we're hoofing it. If we keep it on the floor and get the ball out wide he's more than capable of playing that role.
