I think the only way we can send him back is if the parent club and player agree, we can't just say we don't want him anymore. Unfortunately, I don't think it's likely to happen; Rotherham don't need him, I doubt very much there are any other clubs interested in taking him for the rest of the season and as for the player himself, he will want to stay at a club where he is getting game time.

Power says interest in Doyle is at an end. Doyle is disappointed.

Won't score without Doyle And will fall down the table - 3 goals next game

Won't score without Yates and will drop like a stone - 3 goals next game

Keel it up Fordy you are fast becoming our talisman fan atm, every time you say we will falter we go and win.

Yates is coming back next week according to Wellens so I could see him getting to 15 goals before the end of the season. Hope scored on his debut and hopefully he will add a few more.

I do feel for Bradford fans, its almost a carbon copy of how Swindon performed our first season back in league 1.

I heard that as well as Doyle coming to you for 200k, Rhodes has agreed with Power to include Fordy to sweeten the deal, it would be madness to refuse.

Doyle has been played exactly like last season, only way he can get the ball to his feet is go out wide, that’s defenders dream.
Clueless Bowyer couldn’t get the best out of Renaldo.
You half expect Doyle to be named as goalkeeper

Not really. We struggled after a Flitcroft legged it mid season. I’ll guarantee Bradford will improve without Bowyer. Binning him will, though, cost.

I am not a Bradford nor Swindon fan, but my mate recommended this thread for a good laugh.

It is unbelievable that you have devoted 216 pages of comments to a player that has not scored for you this season.

I was told that one particular poster (Fordy 117) hasn't got a clue & I can see that is true, some of that person's comments are laughable eg "Swindon will drop like a stone" & "Swindon are rubbish".

Well, they are not doing so bad without Mr Doyle & their manager has stated today that he is 99% sure that he will not be returning to Swindon this month.

Bit of a shame that the comedy will come to an end in February, but at least there is still a week of fun to come.

Can't understand it, just got in from the match and reading back this forum has been totally dead this afternoon. Even Fordy's quiet. Think he maybe starting to eat his words, Not the best squad out today, no strikers but everyone putting in a shift, I think any decent goalscorer would score in our current side, So, We're not dropping like a stone as you predicted Fordy, but you are.

I’d love us to appoint Wellens and double his Swindon wages. Be great to see the reaction from them. Had some good banter before but they’re getting on ones tits now still coming on.

I swap useless Rupp and Rhodes for Power & Jewell also!

    Bradford City are an embarrassment!

Can't blame them to be honest when there were plenty on here gloating about us recalling him to strengthen us and weaken them. We've achieved neither, no wonder they find it funny.

They’ve been dog dirt last few games though and their fans were getting het up that they’d signed the lad from Carlisle, when Doyle and Yates were recalled.

Plymouth are coming for them. I think they might still go up automatically though if Rotherham let Yates go back next week

Wouldn't say we were dog shit. We lost to Newport and if you read our own forum no one was complaining too much. Understandably a few of us panicked when Yates got recalled but in Wellens we trust.

Wouldn't say we were dog shit, lost 2 games since October. I feel for Bradford as you are a proper club and if I'm honest it's a bit like our situation. My memories of you guys is good fun to watch attacking football, we've had it ourselves over the years and then we end up with managers like Flitcroft who bore the shit out of fans and I sense that's the same with Bowyer.

As for Doyle, I'm sure we will see a final twist in the story one way or another.

Sorry about the floating town fans by the way, bit too excitable at the moment

Having sat through that shite today i actually feel sorry for Doyle. He's come back and been professional in what he's done, he looked confident and one of if not our best player in his first two games. Today he had the look of despondency about him, it was like watching him last season, being used as a target man and never being in the box due to non existent service. I hope Power is bluffing and that you take him back primarily for his sake because he deserves better than to be saddled with a fool like Bowyer. I mean, not one chance created for him in three games, in fact not one shot on target bar the tame effort last week. What a shambles we've become.
