So practicing what they should do but then not doing it? You can forgive the odd error or slackness but when it is happening all over the pitch with different players you have question the managers ability to motivate or inspire them to achieve their best performances. If they can’t do or don’t have the skill you would as a manager try and coach them to achieve. As I said something is not clicking. I don’t doubt he is a nice man, but I am looking for innovation and inspiration that players can respond too.

I'm not suggesting players are not doing what the practice in training but what I would suggest is if you practice certain aspects of the game you make sure you're on the front foot and you dictate play rather than sitting back and allowing the opposition to dictate the game as we have seen certainly in the last two games, Crawley were straight out of the traps and at us, Palmers header rattling the cross bar within 10 minutes, and again yesterday we scored two goals completely against the run of play.

Well that has been a problem all season. We are never straight out of traps, it always takes at least 10/15 mins and longer to get going. Can you imagine Parky at half time yesterday!!! Yet they came out and if it was possible it just got worse. That suggests to me whatever Bowyer said did not have them chomping at the bit to get going!!

they can if they take on the full responsibility of doing so.

at the moment because they drop to being in-line with the 3 central defenders, the 3 in midfield have to try and do a lot of work closing down the opposition when they move the ball into wider areas which they can't do because they can't get there quick enough. it make them look lazy and leaves huge gaps for the opposition to play into. if the wing-backs position themselves 15-20 yards higher up the pitch and engage with the wide players, when their attack breaks down our central 3 midfields are closer to each other to be able to play quicker and get forward quicker - along with our wingbacks.

at the moment when the opposition attacks breakdown our midfield are too far away from each other to be effective.

Not saying that is wrong but just like Jones saying we don't win the 50/50's, it doesn't really mean anything............what if we make sure we are on the front foot, but the oppo have made sure that they are too, what then? Does it come down to 50/50's, a winner and a LOSER? It's all bollocks really.

This is a team with some really shit players that perennially tin pot, tiny clubs were happy to see us acquire.

You’re putting words into my mouth and are missing the point. I don’t care whether fans don’t like 4-3-3, wanted Doyle recalled or contradict themselves.

BOWYER doesn’t know what his best team is.

    Clear enough?

We can piss and moan over 5-3-2 but if he always had his sights on playing that way then at least we can’t accuse him of not having a plan. I’m not sure what the price of a season ticket, Jose Mouriniho and my own tactical preference has to do with Bowyers ineptitude.

    DOYLE MAGIC IS MISSING

EOIN DOYLE said in December he would be ‘disappointed’ if BRADFORD recalled him from his loan at Swindon. Doyle had been in scintillating form for Swindon, scoring 23 goals in 23 appearances. Now he is back at Bradford and, rather predictably, the goals have dried up. He is without one since his return although he did provide the assist for Hope Akpan’s opener before SCUNTHORPE came from two goals down to draw 2-2.

Getting outed in the national papers for being a poor outfit. Pretty grim scenes and pretty damning stuff that GB has caused here. Absolutely gobsmacked at what a mess he is making of this season. Just blunder after blunder.

Commitment, application and motivation are all missing at this club. Four managers in 15 months and numerous players but still nothing changes, but we still have basically the same backroom staff dos'nt that tell you something.

What a cheeky tw@t, he had an open goal at Crawley but took too many touches and the defender got back to make the clearance, and he should have done better with a late chance against Scunthorpe which hit the roof of the kop.

Neither of those chances were nailed on, the one Crawley, i bet the defender couldn't stop it like he did if he tried another 50 times. As lucky a deflection as you will see.

Come on mate a striker with 24 goals to his credit in half a season shouldn't have needed two touch's .

Well it really doesn’t matter where you lay the blame, Doyle is trying but very little service so Bowyer is going to get the blame. Swindon fans say he missed plenty, but had loads of opportunities and scored loads. That is the point, he gets if he is lucky one or two chances here.

I asked this earlier in the thread but think it's been lost amongst conversations. When vaughan came off on Saturday he gave the armband to Doyle. Didn't think much of it but when I noticed later Paudie was wearing it.

Might have been a simple case of pass this to Paudie, but I'm not sure.

    Did anyone see?

Watch it again, he takes one touch to control to give him accuracy and then shoots, there isn't a striker out there who would have done it differently, it's just a great but lucky block from the defender.

Paudie was the third player. Doyle passed it on and then to Paudie

Yes I get why he took a touch, I would have thought with his confidence sky high he could have just rolled it into an empty net, then he goes across and shakes Sendles-White hand.
    We'll have to disagree.
