They have been very poor at the back all night. Didnt see the Kosovo game as away on holiday, but conceding 5 in 2 games against Kosovo and Czech Rep is a big concern

 

Micheal Keane is absolute gash. Surely we have better options than him?

 

What was worrying was that the Czechs had "bigger balls" going into every challenge as if it were their last, I think England "expected" to win.

Declan Rice offers nothing more than a short/easy/backwards/retaining ball, I must be missing something with that kid, what is he?

 

The bottom of the barrel. England are devoid of any world class talent in central midfield.

 

Why do we try and make players into something they clearly aren't? He should be aspiring to do the same role as De Ligt at Juventus, something he looks ideally suited to.

Give it a few months and he might be back in the championship.

Give me a shout when he's played for a top 4 club, has multiple International appearances and has played in the champions league and at major international tournaments.

Lingard was class on Wednesday. Played in the hole and looked like he'd been playing with Antonio and Benrahma for years. He was a bit lucky to get two goals though, TBH - the keeper made a right hash of the second one.

Bowen is a good player as well, though.

Things are definitely looking up for my other team this season. Moyes doing a fine job.

 

Lingard was the best player on the pitch last night by a country mile. He looks completely rejuvenated. Getting him to the Happy Hammers on loan looks like a Moyes masterstroke.
Bowen also played well, out of position up top in Antonio's absence.

I watched the Wolves v West Ham game and he was outstanding. I agree with Northern; don't underestimate the value of form going into tournament. Similarly, don't underestimate the value a good player who feels he has a point to prove. His form at West Ham must be an embarrassment for Solskjaer given how toothless Man Utd look in the same position Lingard plays. I'm also not convinced by Sancho, but I do like Grealish.

All 3 at their best are better than Bowen though.

Having said that, the national team to a certain extent, should be looking at players on form so Bowen could get a look in.

We've still a wealth of talent in the wide areas though so he's still a massive amount of work to do if he wants to be a regular.
