The state and politicians in charge of Broadband? Those who remember the last time it was nationalised and the absolute mess it was will shudder at the thought of it been only one supplier again run by incompetent untouchable civil servants , And of course it would begin free but would quite quickly have to be paid for again to raise money or offset its running costs, Gullible is not the word for this policy/con trick

BTW if you have a private or works pension this policy puts it at risk, The plan is to buy Openreach which is owned by the big pension providers to provide pensions not by paying cash so your pension provider can reinvest it on your behalf to keep your pension viable, But no the plan is to swap the shares for a created government bond which will end up a junk bond and will never pay a dividend that could pay your pension, McDonnell nearly bankrupted the Greater London Council when in charge of finances, Now he is going one better and trying to bankrupt the whole country,

My view is if you are willing to make one in and work hard then i'll back you all the way whether you are at the top or the bottom. If you're a lazy work shy dosser then go whistle for your benefits.

Jeremy Corbyn is unelectable. I honestly cannot believe some folk think he will win the general election and become our PM.

These folk are residing in bubbles and echo chambers, where everybody is convincing themselves that the Tories are unfit for purpose and Labour have workable policies, no issues with antisemitism and leaders we can look up too and trust - Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott. All 3 are tdeluded and under their 'soft, caring lefty demeanour' are dangerous communists at heart.

The country is safer in Tory hands, they are far from perfect but I trust them with the economy and immigration. Two extremely important factors. I also trust them with the NHS (look at NHS Wales or Mid Staffs for how Labout run the NHS) - it is shameful for Corbyn to keep banging that same drum about it been sold off to Trump. Utterly shameful.

    Hoki Koki Corbyn as PM
    McDonnel as Chancellor
    Dianne Abbacuss as Home Secretary

    Let that sink in....

He is a left wing supporter of armed terrorist groups. Most sane people would call that extreme,

But there is opportunity for everyone to go and succeed under this government Hoochy... I lost my parents and grandparents at a young age and had to grow up very quickly. I had to learn to run a house with a poorly paid job, I'm now in a good job and doing well.

Anybody can do it with some application and become comfortable. I don't see anything wrong with the current opportunities for people to succeed.

Was just about to post something similar. Labour should be walking this election, the fact they aren't tells you something is fundamentally wrong in either their policies and/or their party itself. Im my eyes its a bit of both which is a shame because not personally being a voter of either party i would have liked to see what Labour could have done in respect of public services and utilities. But then i look at their leader and the team he has assembled under him and shudder at the thought of them being in control of this country. To me its not so much their policies, of which some i agree with, its the lunatic that would be running the asylum if they got in.

Under this government we've seen a rise in poverty, rise in household debt, rise in food banks, cuts to schools, cuts to the NHS, cuts to the polic force, Surestart centres closed, libraries closed, etc etc and there are some that believe they have our best interests at heart?

The fact that many of us are fortunate enough to live comfortable lives in the way of opportunities, good healthcare etc are down to policies that were brought in several decades ago, not because Theresa May revolutionised British politics.

That is old news and Trump rescinded the statement, Not that the BBC would publish the retraction as it has an agenda against Trump from the day he was elected when a supposedly unbiased reporter from the BBC on newsnight claimed he had a mental problem and was mentally unbalanced, The BBC has a huge bias to the left and has always been sympathetic to the Labour party, If in doubt watch episodes of newsnight where they often Boris and Tory bash with guests from Labour supporters but few Conservative supporters who are usually cut short by presenters,

The best route out of poverty is Education, Both parties are a disgrace in this area and should fund it properly

Whilst I have always been against leaving this story about the NHS being sold of is a non story in my opinion. If when we leave if we leave and do a trade deal with the US they will be free to bid to supply drugs to the NHS but the European drugs companies who have used it as a cash cow for years won’t want to lose this vastly lucrative business so competition will bring down prices and benefit everyone

I think Emily Thornberry was part of the duo when she said she wouldn't want her kids being taught by someone in a burka or her mum being looked after by someone wearing one.

And if I am being honest neither would I. A teacher/student relationship should not take place behind a veil.
