EFL TV Rights Deal 24/25 to 28/29 - Goodbye iFollow

I guess you are not going to address why you completely ruined the #BCAFC hashtag Joe just because you disagreed with a few people. I mean it's childish behaviour of the highest order. Then to setup multiple accounts to bully and abuse people.

We now know who you are, you've put your twitter on protected mode and I'm now on your ignore list on this forum because the truth and it's consequences are hard to take at times.

 

I bet that’s more than £10 a day like IFollow was !

 

I was shocked when I looked at my account at the end of the season and realised how much I had spent on Ifollow.

 

£14.99 a day!!! That’s a 50% increase !!!

 

Except your £15 buys you a lot more than one City match. Monthly passes on NOW or Sky are often on sale for circa £25 a month if you sign up for a year etc. and that gets you the Prem, cricket, golf etc..

For example, NOW are offering a monthly sports pass right now for £26 if you commit to 6 months. We'll be on 20 times a season at least so roughly the equivalent cost of iFollow for those games but with a lot more additional content thrown in.

Price is one thing, value is another. Albeit value is subjective.

 

Is this definitely that twitter poster? Made the hashtag unreadable if so? Shouldn't be anywhere near this forum if it is.

 

He's put me on ignore after working him out. Since I pointed him out as being that person he has put his twitter on protect, strange thing to happen or the a 1 in a 1,000,000 coincidence.

Haha I've just checked and you are correct his account is now protected. Does make sense now come to think of it. I think he needs to come clean here.

 

He sits very close to me in B block of the main stand.

Some people use aliases, others are known in the BCAFC community even if they use aliases, but I think it should be their choice.

 

No one has issues with People posting under their own name or under aliases.
When you trash the twitter hashtag and abuse others online via aliases then get caught out, that's slightly different. You reap what you sow.

 

I'll comment on this once so hopefully it stops the discussion and we can get back to discussing the thread topic. The personal profile is me but as I said at the time the tweets account wasn't me. Whether people want to believe me or not is up to them but I'm past caring about it now and I've moved on from it. The abuse I got took me to a very bad place mentally that I never want to go again and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy which i why I don't want to talk about it and I've moved on.

The EFL are advertising it as a minimum of 20 games per club with at least 16 being in the original slot, I've realised I missed the 4 international window slots which will be on Sky
There will be 5 games each week from League 1 and 2 but they've not said how it will be split other than by the end of the end of the season league 1 and 2 will have 248 games on Sky each. I suspect we'll be on the higher end as I think Sky will want to feature us more to get the higher viewing figures, I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with over 50% of our games on Sky if we are doing well plus all EFL Cup and Trophy games.

 

Are league cup games going to be part of it? As they’re not usually on iFollow. I go to home ones but can’t do away midweeks due to work so that’d be handy.

 

Yes, part of the new deal covers all Carabao cup games so they'll all be shown live on either the current Sky channels or the new SkySports+

 

Will be my last say on the matter but this is just garbage. As one of the people whom you took aim at with your other account and was quite happy to hand it out whilst you remained anonymous to claim you are the victim in all this is laughable.

My twitter was hit with thousands of notifications for IPTV adverts, the hashtag was ruined and you just deny it was you when as shown below a tweet from that account is posting a screenshot of a conversation whilst you were logged into your account as you can see by the reply picture. Instead of an apology all we got was a denial and claims of a fake police report.

Anyhow it's done and maybe you will learn from it rather than pretending it never happened.
