    I think the rules say you have to play on the first team pitch but not certain. That would explain why the PL teams play all their games away. The same applies to FA Youth Cup games which have to be played at the main stadium.

    Thanks for the insight WW. In that case maybe it'd be prudent for City to request all future games in this wretched competition are played away from home too then. Certainly save a fortune on stadium operating costs!
