    As one or two have asked how much money we have earned and could earn from this season's competition:

    This season's competition has earned us £160,000 in participation/prize money so far.

    We will also get a £20,000 facility fee for Sky TV coverage in the semi final.

    If we lose in the semi-final, this season's competition will have earned us £180,000 in participation/prize/TV money (£20,000 participation money / £140,000 prize money / £20,000 semi-final TV money).

    If we reach the final and lose we will get an extra £50,000, bringing the total to £230,000.

    If we win the competition we will get an extra £100,000, bringing the total to £280,000.

    Wycombe is the most winnable of the ties.

    They did already beat us in the FA Cup, though.

    After expenses are taken out, it's 45% to each club in every round (U21 clubs get a lower amount)

    Not the easiest things to read but looking at 26.4.3 it reads to me that each club in the semi final and final gets 30%

    If he's saying a 40,000 overall crowd then I'd say that's not a bad estimate.

    Last year there was 79,000 there but that was the record and two teams that hadn't been to Wembley for a while

    The year before 30,000, in 2021 there were no fans but fund raising took place to substitute ticket sales. In 2019 there was 85,000 and the year before 79,000 so an estimate of 40,000 seems fair.

    That section if for the invited U21 teams. They get 0% in the group stage, last 32,16 & 8 they get 25% and in the semi final and final they get 30%. For EFL teams it's a standard 45% throughout the competition.

    Just a thought but what about the club does tickets for a fiver or even free entry for the match as way of apology for this year's shit show

    Might encourage a full house and bring back a little good will

    Or maybe there could be a statement of intent from Rupp / Sparks asking for fans to attend in numbers with a promise that funds generated from the Semi and final if we get there will be ring fenced for player recruitment in the summer.

    The vast majority of the ticket money will be going on the expenses of hosting the match and any profit that is made we only keep 45%. Wycombe can claim nearly £5000 for travel and hotels alone so that's the 1st 625 sold wiped out (accounting for VAT) before we get onto floodlights, stewards etc so it would take a lot of tickets to be sold to generate any sort of worthwhile profit.
