You really do need to listen more clearly. He didn’t say that Lawn/Rhodes took nothing out of the club at all. He said they didn’t take a wage, which they didn’t.

Edin Rahic invested some funds into City, with Rupp being the major shareholder. Yet it is Rahic and his wife that are allegedly taking large salaries. Mark Lawn also bought a share of a football club and took no salary or payments for this.

Lawn however then loaned the club a further £1m and charged the club (with the backing of his co-owner) interest. You do understand the difference, right?

As for, “it was only used to buy Brandon, Boulding” etc, that wasn’t Lawn’s doing, it was McCall’s failure. You can’t berate a Chairman for backing his manager just because it went wrong.

Thats exactly what these two had when they bought the club and changed the situation to try and deliver Edins dream.
Lets hope Hopkin is given total control over football matters and the only decision required by yhe owners is can we afford said players.

You've missed the point big time there. NO-ONE is digging at the club, only the man who is wrecking it. Edin might own the club but THE CLUB IS US and still will be long after he is gone. That is why we will be back there tomorrow getting behind the players again. It is a shame you are working so much that you couldn't get down Tuesday eve. It was a real demo of what our club means to so many, including past players and staff. Carry on defending Edin as much as you like, it s your right.

 

It was a great nostalgic evening remembering Stephan Darby and then hearing past players, managers ETC, not too sure the present players in attendance were keen to be there but as Jonesy said in closing you give your all to these fans and they will back you 100%, as fans thats all we ask.
