    Don’t shoot the messenger and just passing on what I have heard.

    The rumour is that Edin wont be returning and that Rhodes will fill his position in an unofficial role until they fill the role permanently. Stefan would remain as a silent backer. Stefan made no mention of Edin last week in his statement and this might coincide with that.

    Again this is a rumour that I am just sharing. Nothing concrete.

    If this turns out to be true then, providing Stefan provides 'reasonable' backing, this may just be a way out of this sorry mess.

    Whatever happens, I think almost everybody would be happy if Edin makes his 'holiday' a permanent one.

    If that is correct, it will be a starting point. Would need to see the nuts and bolts, at least we will have someone who is City inside out and knows how to run a football club.

    I have also heard that Mrs. Rahic is homesick. As much as I dislike the way he’s running the club if he’s having family issues he’s in an impossible position

    This sounds more plausible, must be a lonely place being in a new country where your Husband is the centre of a shitstorm. No matter how bad a job Rahic is making of running City i wouldn’t want that to impact on his families wellbeing.

    Well I dont want to say too much but the person I heard it from is within the club. Again I know lots of people claim to be "in the know" etc and that isnt what im doing. I just wanted to pass on the info. Edin is currently out of the country and as another poster has suggested his family may not be enjoying their time here. Edin has already touched on in the past that his kids were subject to bullying.

    Did Parker hint at this in the T&A? He mentioned that Rahic is not expected at the next home game, sounded a bit up in the air. Rupp also made no mention, just that he would attend soon. Could have legs. Long-term, wonder where it would leave Rupp? It almost seems like he went out to buy a paper and came back with a football club.

    Something about this sounds plausible and a very shrewd move by Rupp. Julian would want to step in on a temporary basis to steady the ship, but who knows we could grasping at straws. Plus the family Rahic will be under considerable pressure, so that doesn’t surprise me either.

    It would make sense to not have him at games. His position at the club is now untenable, staying away would be of benefit to his own sanity and would allow us to not see what could be fan confrontation at Valley Parade.

    If true then great, and he should aways have put his family first rather than his daft dream of bringing German models to lower league England, rather than dragging them over here before seeing whether his ship actually floated
