He probably needed persuading. Not bothered tbh; as long as he has gone. His position was untenable in my view.

 

I think that is exactly what we need. Someone in the background who just gets on with the day to day running of the club whilst allowing the other professionals to get on with their jobs. Any organisation that has a number of roles is about delegating and getting the right people in the right positions. The person in overall charge doesn't have to be a foghorn.

 

Not the best with regards the comings and goings of big business, but I assume there may be conditions attached.
I asked a similar question the other day if I had 80% investment in a joint venture Id make sure I was the one who made the ultimate calls.

 

I agree but that would mean he still owns his 20% but is not allowed any day to day involvement in club and therefore loses his wages?

I can't see it being true, both him and his wife were earning good salaries at Valley Parade (thats not a dig) so I cant see Rupp has bombed him out making him unemployed, unless there are condition in their agreement that weren't meet.
All speculation mate I'm not getting carried away, hoping to go to the Stephan Darby night and if it is true I might get a taxi so I can celebrate.

 

IF the Club go Belly up ........... NO Club - So no job (and zero financial perks to see him back home to the Motherland, etc.) IF Rupp wants E R out ....... I'm sure he'll have painted a pretty verbal picture, to assist with any indecision E R may have.

Being a minority shareholder doesn’t mean he has to be in charge or even employed. Rupp can do what he likes. Financially Rahic would get paid more going back to his day job anyway. Fingers crossed it’s true

 

I think it sounds a lot like wishful thinking to be honest.. and people who want it to be true will think it's plausible. Think if he was to leave it would be for the best all round. As long as Rupp remains interested.

 

Pleased to see that my gut feeling in the thread 'curing the patient' may (and it's a big may) just have been right.
