I don't know if its changed since, but as of about 2018/19 ish from memory, cup competitions were exempt from registration. I remember looking into it for a player and cant for the life of me remember who, but they featured for a prem team in a youthful line up and also had 2 loan spells that season.

All these criticising the brand of football on show as being boring etc.
Play this way with players who can actually execute the chances created by the formation and the moving round of the opposition then we win 9 times out of 10.
For all the initial excitement in September, for me Wright and Periera aren't going to take us to promotion.
Wright couldn't get a free header from 10 yards on goal and Dion was 8 yards out on a generous angle and skewed wide on Saturday. Both imo were gilt edged chances.
Gilliead isn't the driving midfielder we demand of him. He's simply not bold or strong enough.
Once Banks is back sharp and playing 90 minutes we will see improvement.
Chapman on the left and Walker at 10 will improve us.
Looking to January, with Harratt gone I would send back Pereira also.
Look to replace both with better, whilst also hoping Osadebe is back to give us some drive from the holding role.
I would be looking at 3 loanees then, I don't think we can get real quality in permanently or afford it if we found someone.
Also has anyone noticed since we seem to have settled on a starting 11 in the league with little rotation the performances have dipped??
Inevitable seen as there's not much competition, players in the comfort zone or tired and need of a week off??

Good luck to him I think there is a good player in there if he gets his head down and gets a run of games he could do well

Less expectation at Sutton could suit him.

He has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan for the season.

He barely featured at Sutton before they terminated his loan early in Jan. Now back in NL, probably his level. They have confirmed he has no recall clause in his deal and it's the final year of his contract.

Strange one with Dion - was very good in his first spell, but looked like a totally different player the second time round. Hope he has a good season with D&R.

A number of promising players who didn’t quite make it. Jake Speight, Ross Hannah, Zeli Ishmael, perhaps most recently Ollie Crankshaw, all came with promise, failed to deliver, and played/still playing at lower levels after leaving City

Did Scott Neilson ever get sent to prison? I remember a few years back he was arrested and awaiting extradition to the states after fraud crimes. Think he scammed like 10m or something.

I remember a Stoke youngster we had on loan, was shite for us but had a bit of hype around him. He went on to forge a fairly decent career in the SPL.

Seems to have found himself at Dagenham & Redbridge. 6 goals and 2 assists in 9 games. Think he still has a year left on the Luton deal and is just on loan there again

Think I read that if he starts on Saturday (which he will) or it might have been last Saturday, it will be/is the most consecutive games he's started in his career. To say he turns 26 in 6 months, that's ridiculous. The lads career has never got going, had about 5/6 good games here and that's about it on his CV. Fair play that he's kicking on.

Oh wow did not realise he was 26 Jordan. Doesn't seem long since Luton were debating whether to send him on loan again or keep him in their squad, us bringing him back felt like a massive coup.
In comparison, exciting to think where the likes of Pointon could be at 26
