Derby County away

I read the predicted line-up on the Derby papers site this morning after seeing the T&A preview..... feeling for everyone travelling down tonight. If their paper is on the ball, they are going strong. Warne has spoken before about how he takes the competition seriously as winning it brought a better feel around his Rotherham squad to build into a champ team.

I thought the team looked tired on a poor pitch on Saturday. That same group of players have played most of the game through December, I'd like to see him use this opportunity to change things up as the normal.stsrtong eleven is hardly.pulling up trees at the moment.

 

I mentioned this to Bronco the other day, this comp has seen some big names in the final the last few years and it's generally seen a positive outlook on these teams that got there. If Derby do take it serious then we have little chance.

 

Good question. I haven't had the usual emails from the club pushing it

 

I’d suggest some under 23s may take part.
Derby are 4th and only 4 points off top.
Doubt this is a priority to them.

Getting into championship dwarfs whatever amount they would make winning this.

 

They don’t normally put this on ifollow. There might be a rogue stream? Or Derby might steam it?

 

Once you get to this stage, teams tend to field a bit stronger of a side as you're now only a handful of games away from Wembley. Teams that go to the EFL Trophy final and still have something to play for in the league tend to do well too, final is usually around late March early April from memory? Good morale booster for the last month of games.

Yup. Just checked the live match centre. Video match pass the usual £10

 

This is a good stage to go out with our head held high.

It would certainly fix an issue for me in that I've been vocally against this stupid trophy, haven't been to a match in it since Accrington a long time ago (apart from the rained off Barnsley tie that never happened) and don't want to be hypocritical by just going to the final.

 

Now I have no excuse for not watching

 

Clearly the underdogs tonight but you never know and I sincerely hope it's one of those nights under the lights, it's about time we had a little bit of luck come out way.
All I ask is for the players to turn up and give it a go Infront of the Claret and Amber faithful.

 

Sadly for those travelling it's going to be freezing cold, flat as a fart, no more than 3.5k, and we're gonna get stuffed by at least 3 or 4.
