    I've never been to Pride Park or whatever its called these days but i do remember the Baseball ground mate. Late 80s from memory.

    Proper football club the sort of fixture we’d love to be hosting on a regular basis in the league. About as good as you can get in this cup.

    Went to baseball ground when mcfarland had just jumped ship absolute carnage. Then pride Park in the Premier had to park miles away but came away with a win look how far we have come

    Remember the game in nov 84, very hostile atmosphere at VP for McFarlands return! Don Goodmans goal was one of the most celebrated goals I think I’ve ever seen at a City game?
    And I went to Baseball ground for return game later in the season when it was 0-0 in a tense encounter both on and off the pitch:)
    Loved watching City home and away back then

    Last time I was at Pride Park was when I was at Uni there, but it wasn't to see them play us.

    It was to see them beat Leeds United 1-0 on someone else's season ticket :cool:

    Yep remember it well, Malcolm Christie was being a shithouse all game, at one point licking his fingers right in front of the fans where we were sat and rubbing the ground, to signify we were going down. Tw@t. No surprises he ended up at Leeds for a few games a couple of years later, summed him right up
