    I like most of that team selection except we go on a player who played tonight that did nothing wrong and played well in Taylor for platt.

    It's a nightmare for GA.

    He'll still be getting to know these players that he never bought (and the fact we have about 500 of them doesn't help!!)

    And you could literally pick two teams, which had 7 players plus the four stalwarts - Lewis, Smallwood, Cook and Gilly would be in both and I've no idea which would get the better results.

    Glad a couple of players got a long overdue run out and done well from what I watched.

    Hopefully that will give GA a kick up the backside he clearly needs.

    And people really need to calm down about tonight against derby it was a nothing game for them.

    So did you also get a chance to speak to Jake Young? Both out injured. If Jamie made the trip, l would have thought Jake would also be at the game. He was there wasn’t he?

    Having Pointon and Chapman meant we actually tried to pass the ball tonight, in stark contrast to Saturday where it launch it toward the area at all costs. Thought as a result we respected possession tonight far better and looked a far better side for it. How he lines up on Saturday i have no idea but i'll be honest i much prefer us when we try and play football as we have players at this level who can play a bit if given the ball to feet.

    That’s alright against a side like Derby. It will be back to a war of attrition at Colchester since GA took over the results have improved because of our pressing and being more direct although there is a happy medium

    That's exactly the team I'd pick too and I fully agree about Stubbs, absolutely the best central defender at the club. I thought he was immense tonight.
