I remember watching Burnley at start of season and he stood out then granted they’ve signed a few more so putting him down the pecking order but he should be a class act in league 2

OK so Young's probably off out on loan, but even so that's a lot of attackers to choose from!!

Young is never gonna get a look in, he'd be better off asking for a transfer. Periera way down the pecking order.but did make the bench. Both West Ham and Burnley will expect their players to get some game time. Derbyshire here for 18 month isn't gonna want to be sat in the stand. Yet we are desperate for a.central midfielder.

 

My point exactly!! Although I think Young needs to go on loan only. No need for us to write him off 6 months into a three year deal.

Midfielder might come in. Or he might think that Walker can play at the top of the 'diamond', i.e. but it still leaves some disappointed players for one place.

That assumes he's going to play one of the two upfront. Maybe Hughes is going for a False No.9. LOL!!

Burnley supporting friend said he’s good, but has injury problems which is why he’s going to league 2 instead of higher up. Also needs to work on end product.

Could be that he's a bench warmer then and provided he makes progress Burnley will be happy

 

I wish him well because anyone signing in this window has just got to make an impact AND more than anything..make a difference. We have a great opportunity to clinch promotion this season but we have to sort out our weaknesses.

A lot on here are screaming for central midfielder and to be honest I too would like to see one brought in but I doubt MH sees it like that, unless players that are out of contract at the end of the season, such as Songo'o, Sutton or Gilliead move on in the January window. That could happen if they feel they won't be offered another contract.

 

I agree. Only thing about Young is the fans havent written him off, Hughes has. He's the second top scorer while still at the club and hasn't played for ages. Hughes words were that 'he'd plateaued' and wasn't impressing in training. Personally I think he needs a change as I can't see Hughes changing his opinion of him.

 

I wonder if Gregg Abbott had anything to do with this signing!
