Id prefer it if we went one man up top instead of trying to squeeze Costelloe into the team. He was a passanger for the last 15 mins.

He’s still learning but sadly it’s at our cost, he isn’t what we need this season and won’t be buy game 46 and potentially 49. I wouldn’t be happy if I were Oliver being behind him on the team sheet today, even despite coming back from injury. We really need to freshen things up on Tuesday and he should be the first name dropped.

I think Dara works extremely hard for the team but it just won't happen for him Infront of goal, perhaps it's time he was benched on Tuesday opening the door for someone else to try their luck.

He picks and chooses when he wants to work hard.

Going forward he’s enthusiastic and tries.

When he gives away the ball, loses a battle, or has a pass intercepted, he never does the dirty work in chasing back, his head drops, throws his arms about and he sulks. Horrendous attitude.

I initially thought that there was a good player in there.
However, having seen all his games so far I am now of the opinion that he's not for us.
He runs around a lot but hell, in the penalty area he is clueless, Vincent Kompany sold Mark Hughes are right old fairy tale there.
His free header miss, from the corner of the six yard box was nothing short of embarrassing and he should have been pulled a lot sooner than he was.
I wouldn't even select him in the match day squad except for emergency's.
I just hope that Matt Derbyshire is fit again very very soon.

Stubbs was a good addition and Clayton has done OK too. But that aside, we weakened the side in January with our transfer business. Our main issue then was a lack of goals, and its our main issue now. Our performance in the window wasn't good enough.

Our attacking situation is really comical

Cook cant stop scoring but struggles with service due to the system we play

Oliver, a renowned target man, will come on an suddenly we'l stop crossing the ball into the box

Chapman scuffs every shot he takes

Costelloe can't hit a barn door with a bazooka

Eisa sends 9 shots out of 10 into row Z

Derbyshire will score a worldie an then be on the injury table for 5 weeks

Young can only shoot an thats it but gets loaned out

An Harratt preffers to chase rabbits than through balls

How can this be true? They are completely conflicting descriptions.

Sadly for Costelloe his finishing has really let him down today and in recent games there’s been periods where his level of experience has shown. However IMO some of the stick he’s received has been unfair and over the top. Morais put it perfectly today, he just needed to be subbed and take him out of the limelight. For his and our sake think Hughes needs to do the right thing and drop him to the bench on Tuesday. If fit, I’d actually like to see Oliver start alongside Cook and see Banks and Chapman starting out wide. Won’t happen though......

To be a bit more clear, when we are on the front foot he tries - his intent and enthusiasm when we are attacking isn't really to be questioned (apart from his obvious lack of technical ability that a forward player ought to have). But that's really where the positives end - he's never willing to put the dirty work in for the team or do any of the other non-attacking duties that are required of him. He can't be bothered challenging for the ball away from the goal mouth. He isn't interested in chasing down the ball or wasting his energy pressing, unless we're in possession and there's a chance the ball might come to him. That is an all-round bad attitude. Lost count the amount of times his head went down or was flapping his hands when he gave the ball away and refused to be bothered committing himself.

That to me is a horrendous all-round attitude.

This lad is worse than Gilliead in front of goal.

At least Gilliead will pass instead of missing the target over and over and over.

Needs to drop to wing back.

Costello is the type of signing you take when gambling on a situation and hoping it comes good. This unfortunately is what Bradford City is all about from top to bottom. By now we should have another striker with 10 goals bagged. If Cook gets injured we'll end up around 10th or 11th.

Can people stop calling Costello a donkey please. It's unkind.

Donkeys can kick a ball away from goal.

Probably because we were playing 4-2-3-1 for that time with him on the wing

He's a confidence player. Let's encourage him when he's on the pitch and not give the lad stick. However, I'd prefer to see him come on for the last 10 minutes to drag their defenders about but not as a starter

We can't do that though with the shape we have, it would have to be a standard 4 4 2 with Walker being the sacrifice.

I'm hoping the wide men start and we go back to the 4231 but either way I can't see how Oliver gets a start.

I doubt Walker will play Tuesday. Opens the door for a change of shape?

If Cook can't stop scoring goals then the service must be good? Both goals yesterday came from balls across the box .

Then you say we will stop crossing balls when Oliver plays.

Oliver is not the answer. He is useless! Cook needs someone to do the running and find the channels... Oliver doesn't do that. It has to be someone who can do the donkey work but also chip in with goals and assists.
