    As someone who was born in 92 and has had 1 jab and the next one the week before the season starts I can’t wait for kickoff, none of us have control of the future but I’ll be making the most of each day without restrictions not living in fear.

    Quite frankly, I simply don't worry about such. Tis what it is...

    Illness and death becomes us all. Its just the path we take that I have more control on.

    So getting the thread back on City focus. Has there been any word from the club, league or FA to suggest that Passports will be needed? Or is it just scaremongering ?

    The PL clubs are already looking at a standardised approach for when their season starts. Whether that's under pressure from the Govt, who knows.. I'd be surprised if whatever they come up with isn't then rolled out to the EFL clubs particularly those with the larger capacity grounds.

    Yes, I think the EFL are playing a wait and see game. If the Premier League go with COVID passports, then it would certainly increase the pressure on the EFL.

    So if all restrictions are lifted on Monday does that mean all football clubs will open ALL Hospitality in all sectors of the ground ?

    Please can we try and keep this thread to whether or not COVID-19 passports will be required to attend City matches and the logistical issues if so.

    Any debate about the rights and/or wrongs of COVID-19 passports, and other general COVID-19 debate/comments should go in the aforementioned 'COVID-19' thread in 'General Chat'.

    It's laughable Staffs. Did anyone watch the Euros? Folk were bouncing up and down and jumping over seats to cuddle each other!

    The "encouraging" will be tannoy announcements at most I reckon.

    If the Telegraph's government sources are correct then all grounds with a capacity of over 20,000 will be 'compelled' to use COVID passports as a condition of entry. It looks like masks may be compulsory as well.

    It is likely that the Premier League will make it a blanket rule (only Brentford have a capacity under 20,000), but there is question mark as to whether or not the EFL will apply it to all clubs.

    Our crowds don’t exceed 20,000. If that is going to be the limit maybe the club should restrict entry to 19,999

    And Boris confirms that COVID passports will become a condition of entry for nightclubs and large venues. In addition negative tests will not be valid, once all adults have had the opportunity to be double jabbed (end of September).

    Essentially blackmailing people into getting vaccinated and creating a two-tier society. Hoping we see large scale protests like we've seen in France over the weekend.
