I've emailed to query Covid passports. Had a speedy response but they dont have any answers, as yet "waiting for the governance"

 

She's probably busy tweaking Boris's covid passport plan to make it look like she has developed her own with just minor adjustments.

 

You’re advised to wear your mask inside the stadium, but it’s not enforceable.

 

After @Bradford End post it can't be any clearer, I'll be wearing my mask whilst getting to my seat once in it the mask will be taken off.

 

So passing on the virus to those at risk doesn’t matter, is that what you are saying , even though one may have crossed the road safely?

Absolutly right. I /we avoid any crowd and wear masks where busy and 100% in shops.
I didn’t leave the village for a year for nothing.

It’s too early for football matches just yet. That’s why I wanted ifollow to continue. Id be happy to pay DOUBLE for a full season ticket if I could watch ifollow as an alternative to attending home and away.

Thats a choice I don’t have yet I’m willing to pay and it makes me sad and angry I can’t.

 

And this is the problem for me. The people like yourself who actually need protection don't actually get them from the passport idea anyway. Its a solution that doesn't solve the problem.

Massive amount of sympathy for you and apart from my general unease at a two tier society my fear is that the passports will lead vulnerable people into believing that big crowds are safer then they are. They definitely should be keeping some sort of option for people who can't or don't want to attend for this year.

 

why would people who don't want an 'experimental vaccine' just suddenly change their mind if they are at risk?

as a side that experimental crap winds me right up, as if these paid professionals spend their entire lives to make a cutting edge vaccine for people who are severely under qualified to act as if they just stuck some domestos in a vial. lord have mercy on the human race....

 

Dennis, you need to understand that no where can the requirement of face coverings be policed - it’s an absolute myth - this also includes football matches. In addition, challenging those who are not wearing masks will not combat those who choose not to wear a mask.

Any individual can suggest they’re exempt due to health conditions, and at present, it is against the law to question what these health conditions might be. Carrying an exemption card or badge is a personal choice and is not required by law.

You're just a big cynic. More likely is that they don't realise that football exists outside of the Prem and they're waiting for the results of some polling to find out if it's a vote winner or not.

 

Does anyone actually trust either of the main parties to do what's right for the country.

As for the Covid passports I do wonder how it will effect attendances at all grounds. Even many of those vaccinated are against the idea and I am sure we will see many decline to enter stadiums if they are needed.

Also wonder how many like myself decided to pay by DD so if needed they can cancel should the passports be approved.

 

When it was implicated in Estonia, they gave us a weeks notice it was happening!! One of the rules, was that all staff working in the bars had to be vaccinated. "You're not allowed to check someone's pass, if you're not vaccinated yourself" was the line. All understandable - but what wasn't, was the fact they'd given us a weeks notice, and even if any members of staff who were unvaccinated, got the vaccination, it still takes fourteen days to kick in. It left loads of bars and restaurants short staffed, and in some circumstances, people lost their jobs because they refused to get the vaccine.

I can really see the proverbial hitting the fan once this gets underway in the UK.

 

If it comes in it’s a government decision ,no need to come out with this slagging off the club,demanding refunds, get Rupp out etc. If your not double jabbed then it’s your call but you can’t then moan if your stopped going to events.
