at the timeof vaccine release it did reduce transmission. It is only the Delta so far that they are not sure whether it reduces transmission, there is also a Colombian variant that may be similar

The Delta variant was here as far back as April, which was before people aged under 50 were given access to the jab. It's not like it's something that has happened in the last week, and knowing this we are 3 weeks away from pushing out a vaccine passport, bonkers.

So you're using this forum to bona fide your claim, that's a little like some trying to use the poll with regards taking the knee as a similar % of how the UK population would vote.
The difference being you made the statement the government were using the vaccine as reason people should get it, "to stop getting Covid" which was not the case for reasons I posted, it was to reduce hospitalisation that would overwhelm the NHS, sorry that was not the case.
Although you have been consistent with regards a vaccine passport which I'm.not challenging.

Of course given how new it is, but the investigations and data is pointing in that direction so we can't ignore it.

We do pay to use. That's the point. Whether we pay before, during or after. We still pay.

Do you pay for prescriptions? I do. Isn't that "point of service" payment?

It's not just this forum, there are many places people have pushed this out. I was putting that forward as one example.

They had Chris Whitty and co on these press conferences saying that it reduces transmission by 60%+ with one dose and nearly 90% with two, infact the information pushed out when you went for the jab (I went in July) was actively saying as much.

So yes the government has led the public to believe that the vaccine is there to stop transmission when current rates clearly show that can't possibly be the case.

Oh my god you must be a wum.

No, as service would also include operations and GP appointments.

Never said anything about the NHS not being paid for at all. I never said anything about you not paying for the NHS either.. I merely stated before that in the german system you pay a fee every time you use all services. So therefore i wondered if these anti passporters would think differently if on top of being taxed they also had to pay for subsidised treatments.

Why are you arguing over such a non issue

You forget that new variants have come about.
Even that image you shared doesn't state vaccines stop transmission.

This is from July, and this is from Public Health England and is clearly designed to give the impression that the transmission of the virus is massively reduced.

Most of your messages aren't worth reading to be honest.

Its a ridiculous and infantile idea, on a very sensitive subject. So no, I won't be taking any bet.

If they weren’t worth reading they certainly wouldn't have been worth replying to, so thats just you trying to be nasty.

And there we go, looks like you won’t put your money where your mouth is.

Ironic that you're trying to cite courtesy, just a couple of posts below referring to someone as having the 'IQ of a chimp'.

Gambling would be against my deeply held personal beliefs. If you think it strengthens your own point or weakens mine, it doesn't.

Can't it? How do you you know that the rates wouldn't be even higher if most of the country wasn't vaccinated?

No, I don't think he has the IQ of a chimp. My general view is that if someone resorts to insults in a debate; they're losing.

And no, I'm not WUMing. I've no idea why anyone would think I am to be honest.

They maybe higher but how much higher? High enough to create a two tier society.

There are thousands of positive cases out there from vaccinated people. Technically they can attend these events simply because they are vaccinated, which goes to show why the Covid Passport is pointless.

But rates at the time were that. They couldn’t predict how it would change
