I'm worried that when Labour get rid of Kier Starmerthey will go to the left again which will playout in favour of the Tories. A while ago someone suggested that for Labour to get elected they needed to look to Tony Blair which got the response "we don't want more Blairism".
The suggestion wasn't to bring him back but more making the point that at a time when Labour were deemed unelectable Tony Blair made them electable, they need that now.

 

However, the black community in the UK appears the most sceptical and reluctant in term of vaccine take up. Lets see how businesses balance covid passport encouragement and a racial prejudice narrative. What could possibly go wrong...

 

Especially as Conservative governments are a lot more libertarian than Social ones whose sole aim in life is to control

 

That's your view and choice and I respect that, my view is different but hey the society we live in allows us to have different views and choices.

Why would your Covid status be something you’d wish to conceal? It’s not as though your full medical record is shared.
I’d be more concerned about CCTV / ANPR and data harvesting from apps tracking my every movement.
And when we become a cashless society it’ll be easy for every penny you spend to be analysed so you can be targeted for marketing purposes.
If you are worried about data protection then Covid passports should be the least of your concerns

It’s not something i wish to conceal. It’s something i object to being compelled to share in order to go about my every day business.

Many people get this principle. I see its kicking off in Paris with Liberty marches taking place on their national holiday. Good for them, making a stand.

 

Always will do when posters have very strong views on paper/media talk and the figures they put out true or false.
If everyone calculated Covid deaths the same way that would give us a better idea with regards how each government are tackling the virus, of course there are some countries that won't tell the world their death rates.
