    And I thought I was cynical:) my wife's sister lives in France and says the francaise despise him. Le Pen might just win. Then we are stuffed.

    There's a host of reasons, valid reasons, as to why many people ate deciding to not get vaccinated.

    I'll give you mine. I'm 35 and healthy and have already had COVID. I had minor symptoms but as a result I will have some sort of natural immunity to the virus. Not only that but as a healthy 35 year old even if I were to catch it again, the risk of hospitalisation or serious illness is extremely low.

    I worked in R&D for a Pharma company for a few years in the mid-2000s before deciding it wasn't for me. As a result I know a little bit about trials, studies etc for new medicines. If you know where to look, the data (or lack of data) on these vaccines is very concerning to me. In particular information regarding the biodistribution and what is crossing the blood/brain barrier. Various animal trials with these vaccines were paused or stopped completely due to serious adverse effects. The mRNA vaccines in particular are so new to science that nobody has any idea of the long term effects.

    When I looked into all this, and weighed it up against my age and health and the likelihood of me getting seriously ill from COVID, the decision was pretty easy for me. When you then realise that nobody knows how long these vaccines will actually protect you for or if a new variant will simply bypass the antibodies entirely, you really do start to question why.

    I'll just point out I'm not an antivaxer, and if I was over the age of 50 my viewpoint would differ as I'd be at a much higher risk of being seriously ill or dying from COVID. My wife has had the vaccine and I respect her choice, as I do with anyone who has decided to go down that route. However, I think we're getting to a point where those who have decided against vaccination are going to start being ostracised because of their genuine concerns.

    If government's were doing the things they were elected for there wouldn't be a possibility of the likes of Le Penn getting in.

    Society runs on control and obedience. Otherwise its anarchy.

    Cannot understand the argument that we are being controlled over Covid and this is a new thing. Anyone who drives a car is controlled by government laws and is expected to be obedient generally does so without protest. Those who don't comply get penalised eventually.

    They are trying to introduce these covid passports by hoping that hospitality do the job for them as they don't want to be seen to introduce them as mandatory.

    This is the government who have made hospitality jump through hoops, spend thousands on making they premises covid compliant, then close them down at a moments notice, only allow them to trade outdoors during the wettest April/May known to man and no doubt having council covid Marshalls leaning on them and threatening to close them down for the behaviour of their customers.

    So good luck with getting Hospitality to play ball on this one.

    And there lies a massive problem in the vast majority of countries it is either a left or right wing party running the show. I can't honestly think of one country in Europe who I could describe as a centralised party.

    I really do see anarchy on the streets at some point if it carries on. The issue is we get told t as something won't happen then the next moment it's happening. Keep playing games with people's mind and it will come back to bite you the arse.

    Are you talking about the Contact Tracing App? That is completely different to the NHS App where you generate your Covid Pass.
