Belgium saying they are more than happy to take the vaccine, I'm not sure this scenario will go away as quick as the first threat from Von der Leyen and her crew.

Funny how some on social media are actually turning the blame game around and seeking to blame the UK for the lack vaccine rollouts in the EU. They are so ingrained in their hatred of everything Brexit they become blind to any discussion that shows they were wrong. Not that I'm agreeing with Brexit, more the fact that we in live in a social media world where everyone thinks they are always right. Same with politics where everything is now either hard right or hard left or damn your opinion. People might, one day, wake up to the fact that this whole shit show isn't fit for purpose on both sides of the debate, just because you read the Mail or the Guardian doesn't make your point anymore valid than the next person. Latest example, we are doing such a good job of rolling out the vaccine we're goona spend £2.6 million on a shiny new stage to do it. And laugh in the face of those that put themselves on the front line to actually deal with it.
My apologies for the rant, I'm pretty much done with the whole thing, the fraud of billion pound contracts, the hanging out to dry of the police dealing with this shit, the reward of front line nurses with a flecking hand clap while billions just 'disappear.' And then watch the most pathetic opposition party in living history lose votes hand over fist because they are so out of touch with the public they claim to want to serve.
    Sod the lot of them.

Bored of it all Tone. Tories don't really represent me but christ what's the alternative. Until Labour have some sort of clear strategy that they can all get behind and that this represents people north of Watford then I'd advise no one to vote for them. At least wtih the Tories we know they hate the working class.

No problem rant away mate, as some have said in the Brexit thread the EU were never going to give us a good deal, but when Ursula von der Leyen says they may not allow the export of a life saving vaccine to other countries it becomes more that a good or bad deal, many EU countries said it wasnt safe and they would not use it until they were sure it was safe, IMO this takes dealing with the EU to a diffrent level a few cases of blood clotting from the millions of people vaccinated, once again all about the EUs power.

The vaccine should have been used on their citizens for me having the vaccine and not using it is an act far more than spitfullness, and for the sake of many EU citizens it borders on criminality, hearing France is going back into lockdown, heads should roll but it seems some are built proof, and what makes it worse the likes of Ursula von der Leyen werent democratically elected, jobs for the boys or in this situation jobs for the girl.

An interesting bye election coming up in Hartlepool, it was very close at the General Election but if Labour lose this after what the country has gone through this last 14 months it would spell disaster for the Labour party.

They're unelectable mate, they have no idea who or what they stand for, other than following the latest craze on social media. Losing seats in traditional heartlands while the party in power just takes the piss is embarrassing.

I get this all the time RT, I'm 27 and voted Conservative while getting roaring abuse from pals on social media because I'm a lad that was brought up in a labour strong hold on a council estate so effectively that pigeon holes me as a labour voter. How do I vote for a party that doesn't relate to me at all?

Seriously you are right, so many people are now alienated by both sides of the divide, although disagree strongly if you think that the tories hate the working class after they have just spent billions on keeping the majority of workers to sit at home on their arse for a year...

They didn't do it to benefit the working class, the Tories despise the working class, thats not up for debate. They did it to try and stop the economy tanking.

I'm not too sure it was about the workers, more about saving business, if it hadn't been for furlough many more business would have gone to the wall which would have had a far bigger impact on the economy going forward.

If there was no furlough where the government paid 80% of worker wages the companies they worked for would have not been able to continue to pay their workforce so they would in many cease trading.
In other words the government were subsidising wages the company's couldnt.

The " working Classes " have always been better off under a Tory government, Labour has been abysmal in its treatment of the poor and working class, Mind you they look after the Unions who fund them

Not sure we should expect anyother comment from someone like John McDonnell.

If anyone truly believes the Tories give even the tiniest shit about the working class then i'm getting off at the next stop. Only problem is these days neither does Labour.
