Seen people already laying the blame at the doors of pub goers for spreading the virus.

That's right something that hasn't happened is being blamed whilst the mass gatherings of the last few weeks have been said, well there is no spike.

Daftest thing I read was, how can you compare BLM to going to the pub, as if the virus gives a toss who it infects.

Piers Morgan moaning about pubs being allowed to open at 6am. Firstly pubs won't be open at 6am, secondly it's to stop pubs opening at 12.01, ie now which is what many planned to do and thirdly he supported his son attending a mass gathering which wasn't allowed, but is frowning at anyone who might go to the pub now it is allowed. He was at a golf shindig just the other day ffs.

For anyone who is still following this. That many deaths and this government has lined the pockets of associates. Awful government on every level.

Spain locks down an area with 200,000 people after spike in coronavirus cases just as Britons prepare to head out there on long-awaited summer holidays.

The airlines joined together to sue the government and the next thing you know everyone is allowed to travel again.

There was an interview with a police commissioner earlier on the radio. He was asked a very direct question about what happens if people don't follow the guidance on social distancing etc in the pubs tonight and the police have to be called. He was very specific. He confirmed that the Home Office have been very precise onthis. It isn't a policing issue since the 'rules' surrounding how pub licencees are supposed to enforce social distancing is simply guidance and it isn't the police officer's job to enforce guidance. It's simply a matter for the licencee. That's just an abrogation of responsibility by our Govt.

Mate, it will just be like the supermarkets(who conned the government), it will all start off following the guidance, queues outside, no more than x amount people allowed in together, no standing around. You go into a supermarket now and it's no different to 4 months ago really.

Pubs will be the same, they will try to follow the guidance, then it will all go out of the window in a few weeks and people will be back drinking at the bar.

looking at that then I can't understand why the government are not telling people to go back to the office then and stop working from home?

Wonder why going to sports stadium are so high risk when the scientist said that it's the build up that's high risk(going to be pubs, restaurants etc before games).

Aside for from the sports stadium and religious service looks like we will be opening ourselves up to high risk.

It’s the singing and shouting inside stadiums that’s the risk. Hence no theatres or music venues opening, and no singing inside churches allowed either.

Apparently it was the landlady at Lane Ends that called the police due to too many people trying to get in

I suppose it was the right thing to do at least it will save them from being fined or possibly losing their licence.

Lock down had to be eased at sometime it just proves to me the minority of the British public can't be trusted. The first time of opening there was always going to be gatherings of groups who had not made physical contact who were going to break the advice given, the land lords were on a hiding to now't, lets see where we are in a couple of weeks.
