Haven't the other Secretaries of State learned anything from Grayling's balls-ups in the recent past? These balls-ups are so public now at a time when the country wants to believe that the handling of the crisis is fully under control. They can be their own worst enemies at time. Handcock imo deserves everything he gets.

I wouldn’t trust the council with the data either and they definitely should be strict regulation of who and what data they can then share.

Raab just been on Preston and said what @Dennis@Dennis knew this poor government would say(planning):

Preston said we have done a poll and 75% feel that a second wave will happen which highlights lack of trust in the track and track. Raab "Well it's up to the public to follow the guidance "

If a second wave happen then it's all our fault ladies and gentlemen.

Let's be honest there are a number of people in the general public who are to blame.

BLM marches, Football celebrations, raves, beaches, shops, some people just can't help themselves, the consequence, weeks more lockdown for those who have had to shut their business, have stayed in for the last 3 months.

The governements handing has been awful, people have took the piss and the silent majority who have tried to make the best of a bad thing, are being asked to continue due to weak leadership and selfish arseholes

This isn't true. Bradford isn't going in lockdown/ yet.(leader of Bradford Council has just said)

Numbers have come down (latest) but the government needs to get the data.

The key isn't to lockdown a City it's to use the data, find out which postcodes and locations (work places) are spreading it the address them.

People need to wash their hands. Stop being so duty.

No social distancing at schools...Bubbles of 30, year bubbles, starting at different times if possible.

Ive just read the guidance for schools. There’s no guidance at all.

I literally have no idea how we’re going to do it. Half of the time I dont even know what they want.

Teachers basically do your job and get on with it. Good Luck!

Oh and most of the laptops to the poor kids never arrived that the government promised. Poor kids.

    You've summed it up.

For a fact, whole year bubbles will be impossible in my school. The design of the school prevents it.

How I deal with children who have to spend time out of the classroom for intervention learning or to go to a safe space, whilst still being in a bubble. Feck knows.

I presume that the current requirement to keep doors and windows in classrooms will change, otherwise we will have children with hypothermia in winter.

Here in Scotland lockdown is easing but you have to question decisions made by Sturgeon. Currently shops are reopening and shoppers don't need to wear face masks but it will be compulsory to wear them after 10th July.
Failure to adhere could incur on the spot fines.
Why do any changes have to be days later than when the announcement is made?

Probably because like down here, it's made up on the spot announced and changed when people scream loud enough.

Absolute wishy washy bollocks this briefing.

Get schools back in September by all means but don't insult people who know that it's impossible to keep different classes separate all day and around the buildings.

Don't bullshit us. We aren't idiots.

I mentioned this a while back.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-53267112

As sure as night follows day, this was going to happen. The place is a sweat shop with absolutely no regard for their staff. My other half worked as a planner for about 3 months last year. Jacked it in as soon as she could. It’s a horrible place.

Lets blame the Government , not the idiots who broke lock down rules , not the idiots on protest marches , not the half wits in Liverpool ( and Bradford ) celebrating their PL win . A lot of idiots in this country suffer from a lack of common sense a perfect example dont touch this kettle it gets hot , dont touch an electric fire - it gets hot , dont walk on railway lines , dont touch overhead power cables . Whats wrong with using your brains? der , i burnt my hand cos there was no label on the oven telling me it gets warm . The country is full of idiots , but it's the Governments fault .

You tell people what to do...it's an infringement of their rights...you don't tell them what to do and there's no leadership. People will blame anything for their own lack of responsibility and selfishness. Cummings...an odious Twit who was completely out of order with no humility whatsoever. Pilloried, rightly by the people who then think it's ok to go and replicate poor, selfish behaviour. There's a complete lack of fibre these days top to bottom and a lack of personal responsibility...easy to blame authority...too difficult to just try and do the right f***ing thing.
