    I’d definitely try to keep Cooke. He seems to bring out the best of whoever he partners. Palmer looked like the player some thought we had signed and Akpan was much better yesterday alongside him.

    I’m still undecided by Connolly. He has pace, tricks and gets folk off their seats. But for a winger, his end product is lacking. How many times yesterday did he (and Zeli) beat their man and then waste the cross! You’d think that the one thing a winger can do is to stick the ball in or around the right place after beating your man. To constantly over-hit it or even put it behind, us scandalous.

    If he can sort that out, I’d definitely want to keep him.

    I'm gonna go with this. Cooke as I've previously said, was very good in my one and only real sighting but one swallow and all that...

    Connolly, pace.. Yep... Stretches team... Yep.. End product... Meh. Jury out for me

    Pritchard, Cooke, Donnelly and a fully fit Ismail have replaced the previous midfield dross to a man. Shoehorning Gibson, Anderson and Devine into the team with some odd formation choices to boot seems a long way away now.

    Hopefully some sort of deal lined up if both work out , more hopeful on Cooke as Peterborough have been trying to get rid for a while , not sure on Connelly with the manager change but hopefully player and agent will want to push em through , so far so good on both added plenty to the team

    Manchester Utd are irrelevant!

    They're the second club in Manchester and have been for a long time.

    When fans think losing to a local rival is good because it stops another team winning the league then I know they've gone. Utd are irrelevant. Yesterday's fish and chip wrapper- an embarrassment!

    I would never ever want us to lose to Leeds. Ever!!

    No @Park bantam@Park bantam in his first post, went ont to talk about siging Cooke (Peterborough) and Connolly (Wimbledon) who are both on loan. Pritchard is our player on a two year contract. So no he initially was correct not to mention Pritchard who's position is very different, he then perhaps got a little confused by agreeing to include Pritchard.

    Tricky one that. It's one thing that the club don't want you, but it's another taking a drop in wages. If he continues to do well, then he'll consider himself in the shop window for a club who can match his wages, but at the same time, if he continues to do well with us, then he pretty much cements his place for a fixed term contract and regular football. He's only 22. Big decision for the lad coming up.
