    Money could be a stretch atm, so hopefully we take the FA Cup seriously and can reach the 3rd round and get a big tie. As above I hope we can make both permanent ASAP.

    Agreed but I think both could be. Assuming they are affordable I'd definitely be looking at a longer term for them both.

    Pritchard, Cooke, Donnelly and a fully fit Ismail have replaced the previous midfield dross to a man. Shoehorning Gibson, Anderson and Devine into the team with some odd formation choices to boot seems a long way away now.

    Gotta say I was very impressed with Cooke yesterday. First I've really seen of him (saw a bit of him against forest Green in the last match I went to). Definitely agree with the OP based on limited game play

    Connolly is probably my favourite to watch, he's so direct and his pace is extremely effective.

    However he doesn't pick out crosses very well and launches the ball when he should shoot.

    He's definitely a work in progress, and I'm not sure he'll be top end L1 - maybe, because I'm the right side he'll certainly be able to play the Omar Daley role of shifting the ball up field quickly, but no end product to speak of.

    Cooke looks great, but again, there are plenty of similar players in L1.

    It was reported in the paper that we were on the edge of the ffp mark, so we won’t be allowed without extra income regardless of owners wealth. Look at Salford this season, there’s no regulations in non league and the just bought the leagues, but it’s not so simple for them now and they’re struggling.
