Its irrelevant as to when the season started. Both players have been out for almost 12mths and are adding nothing. If, as suggested by Hopkin, that it isn’t down to physical injuries anymore, then the players themselves may been open to a chance to move on.

Why keep 2 players at the club when there are clearly issues? If we can get them to agree to settle up, any savings could be used on a free agent. Didn’t we manage to get Aaron Mclean out of the club in November, albeit on loan, even though we still paid most of his wages?
