There's only really O'Connor that has previous really, all the others 'seemed' to have got their heads down and just played football. Its very easy, as we all know, to turn up for an interview and show the best side of yourself. You see it in the work place, first few months nice as pie and then you work out that certain colleagues are total bankers.

I think Clarke was a PR signing. Bringing the boy back to Bradford and all that guff. Sob stories about how he always looked at VP when driving from home back to Charlton, and then telling his kid he’s now coming home. Tears of joy.
    Really fills me up.

No it's not just Edin's fault at all.

Rupp, Rhodes, Collins, Hopkin, players and fans are all to blame.

All of the above messed up in their own way.

We're not going to progress until we all admit responsibility barring Hopkin and Collins who have gone.

In fairness to @Onside@Onside - Initially it was Edins doing, he started the ball rolling. By the time action was taken, the damn thing had picked up a fair pace. Yet it was not unstoppable ......... IF all parties had stuck and fought together, there may have been a good chance that Bowyer could keep us up. Instead we ran out of space - expecting a Boeing 747 to land on a Heli-pad !

How is it the fans fault Fordy?

What could we have done to prevent this car crash of a season?

As far as recruitment goes in January I was disappointed. I was happy with us making sure we kept Payne, but I had to swallow hard when I heard the details, which was and is very expensive. However, if I had known Butterfield was available at knock down price I would have chosen him and Payne could go back. As a club we didn’t know at the time we secured Payne. Woods has been riddled with injuries so a poor signing, P O’Connor has only played once at Barnsley. Difficult to work out whether he is a good player. So we blew our budget on Payne.

I think some fans don’t understand the notion of a budget. We could have thrown whatever money we wanted, but it still would not have guaranteed we stay up. The damage to our budget happened in the sumner. You can’t reconstruct a squad in January.

We could and should of done more.

Only @Ricc@Ricc really voiced converns at early stages about Edin. Too many of us joined @Park bantam@Park bantam in the clouds.

We should of been forcing Edin out.

Have you noticed how easy it is just for the club to do a statement and everyone goes well that's fine then? Competitive budget - ok! As fans we need to start asking more questions, be more ambitious and be more demanding!

Edin was removed very fast when you look at other clubs in a similar position with dodgy owners. Try remember us fans have paid good money to watch that spineless shower on the pitch this season, I suggest you show more respect to your apparent fellow fan or don’t call yourself a fan because if you think that you obviously aren’t one of us.

You can't start jumping up and down just because you think the new guy is a fraud. It wasn't until it was too late that it all started to look like someone's initial opinion was indeed correct.

Everything you've put I agree with but not blaming the fans.

If youre not happy with the budget statement and other things I seriously think you should join a supporters board and become more active. You need to ask these questions that others are scared of doing. Seriously, I think you should do it.

Not just those. They added to it but are not the root cause. The problem was our piss poor summer, even taking signings out of it, the manager was so under prepared, the squad were not fit etc etc.

We had 14 points by the first of December and that is what will kill us.

Didn't " Championship Manager " Simon Grayson discuss potential signings with Rahic towards the end of last season?
I'm sure that was reported in the local press.

Personally I think fan pressure contributed to the terrible January window. Needing players but with no players of the type we wanted available and willing to come (and lets face it we're not an appealing prospect) we caved in to fan pressure and signed players we didn't need. Clarke and Butterfield being the obvious examples. Now we have even more pointless signings holding us back.

Well summarised, and little to argue with, there.
As you suggest ....... SUMMER is the time for reconstruction. January is for 'maintenance'.

I imagine they did, but as soon as Grayson decided he wasn't staying I bet Rahic disregarded all that and signed who HE thought would be good.
which is why we're bottom of the league.

BUT, again Fordy ........... YES - we certainly did lag behind @Ricc@Ricc , early doors - But that was down to our joint thinking that although there were holes in the squad, we ultimately blamed the results on the poor lad Collins. It wasn't until about a month after his departure that we all then realised what a TOTAL feck up Summer was, not just a misjudgement or two.

YES - We're led to believe they did. However, we all know now - It was always going to be Edins way, or no way ........ So as Parky did ............ Grayson followed suit, and walked (Knowing only the dole queue awaited !).

    Sorry ........ I disagree !!
Players are ALWAYS available ............ We were just skint (after up grading Paynes 'rental'). But I agree, it looks like signings were made for signings sake. Any fan pressure was to fill those holes, which we still have.

My overriding memory of Rahic was his tinkering with the wage structures. Seem to remember him wanting to lower wages and increase incentives and then following up with signings and wages which were well over budget. If, as a result, there is an imbalance in what players are paid, it would lead to an unhealthy dressing room for starters.

Here he is the SUPER FAN!

I hold my hands up I could and should of done more to help Bradford City. I can afford too and I have a voice.

If you want to take no responsibility for the club failings then fine. You sit in your cheap as season ticket seats and just seat there with your lunch box and let Edin sit on your face.
