Made hardwork of that but thought French yet again was superb sutton is that tigerish midfielder we required. Defo a lack of pace is a worry but hopefully that will be addressed.

Should have scored the header first half but can't fault overall. If he does that regularly city fans will be happy.

I don't know if the virus has affected Stevenage but I thought they were poor. I'd expect a half decent side to blow them away today. Needed pace to get at their ponderous centre backs. Some players are beginning to nail down slots in the side such as Clarke, French and Staunton. I was impressed with Suttons energy and work rate and Watt continues to impress although was quite today than of late. Guthrie and Cooke look the ones at threat of losing their place.

 

Anyway, back to City. 3 points..Great. The rest just utter poor.

4 in 4 for Novak, could be 5 , the offside against Colchester was very marginal,
Keep that up and he might hit the twenty mark.
Still lots of room for improvement .Sutton ,French , Clarke , Watt looked good. Young Reece made the odd mistake but that does not surprise me, especially playing alongside BRE.
6.5 out of ten, pleased we came from behind to win. Onwards and upwards

 

Guthrie is gash and Stuart MUST see this but well done to the boys and particularly French, Sutton and Clarke. Have to say need a bit more from Cooke in what i have seen so far.
As someone else mentioned, please post something Park as you have been missed - with all the crap going on we should not forget to check these things. Hope you are ok mate

 

I agree, but I do think we don’t get enough credit at times. 3 awful sides we have played supposedly who have had good results against other teams. Teams can make sides look poor

 

Guthrie never troubled Cuthbert all afternoon and that says it all, Cuthbert reminded me very much of Guy Branston good in the air but very slow, I thought when Andy was commenting on it Stuart would have seen that anyone with pace could have taken him to the cleaners after 65/70 minutes,

 

Waste of wages guthrie and donaldson....utterly useless

 

I think Donaldson is unfit and probably did little during lockdown. Let's see if he can get himself fit and back on the pitch. If he can't then we'll need two forwards and we can't always be hoping Novak scores.

 

Get Hiwula to partner Novak instead of Guthrie, and there will be the making of a decent side there.
