    While City are unbeaten in the league it has been two very scrappy draws. With both O'Connors suspended after their sending off in the previous game its unlikely to help things.

    Stevenage's only loss this season was on penalties to League One Portsmouth. They drew their first game against newly-promoted Barrow 1-1 before beating Oldham 3-0. On Tuesday they defeated Southampton U-21's by 2-1 in the Football League Trophy

    The bookies have City favourites to win with a 52.4% chance of a win, with a 30.3% chance of a draw.

    The xG for City is 0.96 and xG against 0.3 while Stevenages is 0.46 xG For and 0.27 Against so the most likely result is either a tight 1 nill win for city or a no-score draw

    Stevenage were comfortably the worst team in the division last season and survived on a technicality, Guthrie was their top scorer in the league. This could be an interesting measure of how the City squad is shaping up.

    They've started pretty well this season.

    Revell seems to have galvanised them. They've won 2 (OK, EFL Cup against Southampton's youth but still it's a win and a solid win at home to Oldham) and drawn one and the draw was first up away at Barrow, coming from behind.

    If we think that they'll be anything like last seasons team then we'll be shocked.

    They will be confident and we have only have half a defence.

    I expect a draw but we could easily lose as we're goal shy and have a defensive line that will never have played together.

    With your two starting central defenders suspended and the potential that Staunton may also be out, then City may well be very vulnerable to concede. This game in itself, in my opinion will not be an easy one and we could find it difficult. If we can score early, then that would take the pressure off a little. Obviously want a win, but would settle for a draw.

    13 new signings and a clear out of last seasons dross has radically improved them for the better, Will be a tough one.

    Not so much forgotten, just miscalculated. I must have counted one of the League Cup games as one of the ones he was able to play in. Not sure McCall will throw him into the starting lineup mind you, maybe on the bench with the view to get 25-30mins from him at the end

    I'll try and do one for at least every league match as a need a match thread as part of getting my script setup that creates the next prediction league thread and outputs all the graphics for the match events and formats all the tweets about both the match and the prediction league

    I'm all for giving our youngsters a chance and always want them playing when they can. I just hope that if he does play it's not a negative experience of a loss or being part of a disorganised backline that get pulled around all over the shop and the experience sets him back or is held against him because we had no choice but to play him.
