The same poster who said the only way to win at this level is by playing 4-4-2, now moans we’re tinkering because we’ve played it 3 games on the spin but lost our last one. You couldn’t make it up with some posters on this site, baffling doesn’t begin to explain some of the thought processes.

 

Just go against everything and anything in the hope we lose so they can sit back and say “told you so”. Pathetic

 

Been the same for years. If the manager has a set side they prefer they're stubborn, inflexible and "have favourites"

If they move things around they don't have a plan and are tinkering.

The operational word here is "pretty" meaning almost, so tinkering has taken place

 

I definitely think it’s gotten worse this last 18 months since Rahic had his way with us. You only have to look on here if it’s even 0-0 at halftime, it’s like Rahic ruined any confidence some posters had in the club and now everything is in extremes.

 

The move to 4-4-2 is welcome and the right way to go for the vast majority of games and yes I did advocate such a move many games ago and welcome his conversion, You will never win every game but a good win ratio is essential to gain promotion, Within the formation he continues to tinker with selection and by now should know his best team, The problem is he does like to tinker by swapping CBs for no reason, Changing players in midfield and chopping and changing, History teaches one thing in football and that is a settled side will always do better than one constantly evolving,
As for making it up I have been consistent throughout on wanting 4-4-2 or a version of 4-3-3 which is similar to 4-4-2 to that a lot of the worlds top sides use
There are some very good books explaining football its coaching and tactics and suggest you invest in reading some before attacking other posters and making yourself look a bit silly

 

First of all I’m attacking no posters so don’t embarrass yourself by coming across so precious. As for tinkering team selection, every manager and coach does it including Pep and Klopp. Players aren’t robots there is such things as fitness and form, as with Cooke Bowyer has already explained his reasoning in the T and A if you want to ignore the facts that’s up to you. As for reading coaching books, you sound like Rahic I know football. If only football were so simple, nobody would lose would they, I’d expect such nonsense from someone who defended last years players and always laid the blame elsewhere though.

 

I laid the blame where it squarely lay with an incompetent manager and a chairman who like in the past waited far to long to take action,A fair amount of last years players are playing at a higher level partly proving my point that it was poor management not the players,

 

If that’s what you think okay. I prefer to share the blame out amongst all those who stole a wage, that includes players who at times gave nowhere near 100%.

 

I partly agree, The fact is that the players we had were demotivated by a poor manager who preferred to bully players and punish them instead of building team spirit, There can be few players who would not care about giving everything to such a manager, The comments from the players after he had gone testified to the fact the club was a different and much happier place after he went

 

YEP, 'gotta agree. It seems the 'halfway house' was demolished a long time ago, and it's now a case of a solid yes or no to every question from the majority.
