City For MccAll ?

The 1st time McCall was here he wasn't experienced enough. The 2nd time was some of the best football I've seen at VP in a long time but he was working under a maniac. I never wanted him to go so I'd welcome him back with open arms. I really can't see Bowyer bringing us success. How many transfer windows has he had? How many players has he brought in? How many formations have we played? He still doesn't have a settled side. Personally I'd cut him loose right now

 

just because people don’t want Bowyer doesn’t equate to people wanting McCall.

Look at Liverpool took them years and multiple transfer windows to get that good.
If bowyer had lost the previous 3 maybe but he clearly has the mangement skills to put us in good stead. We win our next three we would be flying up the table.
Guys just need some damn patience. If he got us top of the league winning every game he would have been in championship by now. Patience.

 

Bowyer till the end of the season. No promotion and he's fired the day after the final game.

Are you looking at the League 2 table; I don't know how you come to that conclusion, if we win our game in hand were top 3, even with the poor season we've had so far.
Some on here need to get real, and yes ive seen all our home games bar Forest Green and been to 5 away not that that matters I've seen the rest of the games on TV.

 

Glad you are not my lawyer. Where is your evidence that points to us falling short of the play offs?

 

I've seen most games this season home and away. We are no better or worse than most of the teams in this division. We could easily finish third, we could just as easily finish tenth.

 

Events have a way of shaping themselves. Managers usually get sacked after about five consecutive defeats or poor form culminating in a spectacularly heavy defeat. Afterwards there seems to have been an inevitability about the sacking. Managers don’t usually get sacked simply for playing unattractive football or when they are in the playoffs with a match in hand. I think Mr Bowyer will be in post for the foreseeable future even though I am concerned by his apparent lack of passion and tactical awareness. In his favour he had a pretty good summer window, signing a few decent players. If he can bring in two or three more in key areas and send the same number out on loan, we might be in for a strong drive to automatic promotion. We also have it in our power to derail Swindon while getting ourselves back on track.

 

Not really. Bowyer MAY not be the right man but McCrap is ABSOLUTELY NOT the right man for the job.

 

Hardly a representative sample, I know, but those in my pub waiting to set off for the match are all to a man saying Bowyer deserves another transfer window. No one mentioned McCall.
